Glasses.. a fashion statement???
Not sun glasses but eye glasses, the importance of it has deprive to its original tale which is to better someone's sight clearly.
Nowadays everyone wears it just because it looks good, while the kids wearing glasses since they were young switch to contact lenses.
eye glass should increase your eye accesibility to see the world rather than make you look like a cover of a magazine...
im guilty, i use it for fashion statement, you know the "weirdo-look".

i use contact lenses too and more and more people try to avaoid glases...i would like to avoid lenses too....lasik is interesting...
I use contact lenses, And I don't think what you say is correct. Here people wear Sunglasses as a fashion statement
lasik is corrective laser surgery to the eye so you can se without glasses or contacts!

well I have glasses and contacts, and I like my glasses...but they give me headaches if I wear them for too long... so contacts it is :/

because I need to wear one (one sign of age)due to my diabetes as my eyesight is bad at night (chicken eyes, they call it) :-P
But it would be nice if a prescription eye glass could be fashionable as well...
