Getting parents/in-laws to Qatar ...

A friend just told me today that it was reported in one of yesterday's Arabic newspapers that the government is taking initiatives to stop visas from being issued to parents and inlaws (i.e.mother-in-law & father-in-law) of those expatriates working in Qatar.

Is this true?

Dont listen to any of such crap. Most people here hv just one job discouraging others..if u hv to get your family members for less than a month ..28 days to be precise then just go to the airport office and all you need is your passport copies, qatar id copy and passport copy of you parents..in case of inlaws take ur wifes passport copies...so that they can verify the family name...

u will get a form there fill it... there is person sitting there to sign on ur form after verifying the passport copies...once he okays just pay 100 reyals...and u get the visa detail with in 24 hours from the website....

its that simple...

If you want to get them for more than a month then letter from ur office is a must ... u hv to summit similar form but this one at the main immigration..all it takes is a couple of days..so all the best..being positive is whats more important..
