I got the same message from Qtel, 2weeks ago, I inquired at 111.
All you have to do is to dial 111,and confirm that the SIM/Number you are using is under your name.
If it is under your name, then you need not go to QTEL personally.
IF NOT:
1. Get a 'miscellaneous' form at Qtel
2. Attach a photocopy of Qatar ID of the owner of Sim.
3. Both parties sign the form
4. Go to Qtel to transfer ownership under your name.
If the SIM is under your company, do the same.
If the SIM has been provided by the Company to its employees, Your Admin department should write a letter (signed and stamped) to QTEL, and attach the list of employees.
THis is what I got from their cust service rep.
You can always double check the info above by dialling 111.
Have a nice day.
Shav

Sorry to tell you Greeker but the judge lost his case. Thank goodness justice finally prevailed for once in my country. On top of that he has to pay for the dry cleaners court costs and other expenses - not legal - but any other cost they incurred.
By the way we have the same problem at times with our cell phone carrier here in the states.
I Just realised that I got the same message as you 10th floor, and this was during my trip to London more than 7 days ago, still not got disconnected and i thought it had something to do with internet connection....it's all confusing when it should really be straight forward and simpler.
Do you think i should go to the nearest Qtel station and do the Do?

With no further warning that one week, during the summer when many people leave for vacation...for more than one week. What a great customer service. And why don't they have enough information from when a person signed up? They even have my grandmother's shoe size.....just for an overpriced mobile phone service that is always just about to expire or be disconnected for whatever whim.
Thanks, mate. I tried again and it worked. Should have been some temproary problem or something. Thanks again.
Now if i recieve another message, then i am gonna sue you, for passing wrong information about a state owned company. Ah, how much i suffered mentally when my message didnt go the first time, not to mention my poor fingers who got hurt in the process of texting that message...And no, dont try to delete the thread, i have made a screen shot of the page on my mobile, webcam and the computer and have also saved your message as text...
I am gonna sue you for $56 million, just like that judge who lost his knicjkers, if ever i recieve another ad on my phone.
(Psst...Q-Tel, are you hearing? send me one more ad and we shall divide the loot which E pays me, 70% for me and 30% for you. thats fair price for all the crapo messages you have been sending me anyways, hehe)

There now. I feel better.
Have a nice day.
It's Q-tel who you need to Sue
Couple of Days ago, they advertised that number on newspapers, but it was 3600 instead of 2600,
still didnt work for me
Gone Till November
I sent the sms and a few hours later got another junk text message.
Way to go Q-Tel.
Date and time.
Are they real?
When can i assess the value of each?
Which number can my auditors contact you in?
Last but not least, mind giving me your number?
You'll be caught in a catch-22, Greeker. My situation is as follows:
Q-Tel says pay money, bank says no money.
So how about a tour of my collectibles and memorabilia instead?
Thanks, mate. I tried again and it worked. Should have been some temproary problem or something. Thanks again.

Is the number the same?
Just spoke to Q-Tel. The service is free.
Is there a fee for unsubscribing?
