Qatar played it cards right. But there is no doubt that there is corruption within FIFA. Technically Qatar was the most high risk within the FIFA bid evlaution reports. Technically both Australia and the USA were highly fancied, but the decision was to award both World Cups to oil producing countries where the press is muzzled.

Some people around the world are talking about bribes and influences, but i dont see any of these true. just look at some factors:

2022 bid voting was very competitve. it took 4 rounds for Qatar to win.

Honestly and neutraly speaking Qatar's bid was the most strongest one and presentation was the best.

Financial support is very important for this kind of events, and Qatari Government has guaranteed every thing.

Qatar has already arranged some famous big events successfully.

Middle east has never got worldcup before, although football is the most famous sport here.

In my point of view Qatar's FIFA 2022 bid win was very much fair and Qatar deserves this.
