FRIENDS???
Got the following mail from a mate,makes me think a lot about the real meaning of friendship:
Ya hala,
wud not waste ur precious tym but just wanted 2 share something related to my great mates,
Yesterday i was at Lulu doha 4 some shopping, whn i was abt to leave, my car ran out of some oil and it was stupid and dangerous to keep the engine running, so i needed some help.
here it begins, i called my mate n asked if he can come down n help me out, but he excused saying he was very busy at industrial area, thn i called another so called mate who refused by saying he has got some work 2 do at home, he was busy, the third mate simply said tht he wud love to hlp me out but its too mch traffic in doha to drive at 8 pm, am sorry, so my great mates kept disappointing me vry mch, tht really tears ran down from poor xxx's eyes, i was more sad abt the reaction of my mates thn my car. I was waiting for the cab whn suddenly i realized that am standing vry close to where XY lives, she will might hlp, but what came in my mind was that whn almost abt 10 very old and close frndz denied to offer any hlp thn how can i expect any thing from XY, But XXX remembered tht he was taught tht God help those who helps themselves, so i opened the bonnet whn there came a 4 x4, there was one guy frm Sudan, he came smiled chked some stuff from engine closed the bonnet asked me to wait, after minutes he came back with couple of bottles of oil, he filled it in the engine, and gave me the other bottle saying tht there is some kinnda leakage in the pipe so may b i will need some more oil until i reach the workshop at Industrial area, despite of the fact tht i was very grateful and wanted to thnx and pay for the oils he simply rejected furiously n said i shud chk my oil regularly, Smiled and gone.
wow.
Now i jst wana thank all of u (my so-called mates for ur support wch made me realize yesterday how mch u guys care for me.)

BUT U ARE LUCKY THAT U REALIZED THIS IN SUCH A SIMPLE SITUATION. else u could have been in a deeeep pool of trouble and than realize it.
i think we shld be more careful when convicing are selves who our friends are!!!!!
forget about those "mates" they are not your friends at all, a good deed from stranger is the best just pay it forward. that is a nice story swissgirl it means that there is still kindness in the world huh?
