Fog lights

Hi everybody! I just want to know your opinion about drivers using their front and sometimes rear fog lights when there is no fog, rain or sand storm. I mean when the sky is clear and the visibility is good.10x!

Rear Fog lights??!!??

Fog are the lower smaller lights on the Front.... not available with all cars ... on most cars its an extra...

I was also thinking of installing one for my car :)

Well they paid for it around QR 1,200... there hasnt been any fog this year.... lesser chance for much fog this winter... what the hell.... use it before the winter is out.

Also its better to use fog lights than the normal headlights as they are lower and not harsh on the oncoming vehicle driver.

You and I are from a different era... :O(

Apparently, It makes the car look cool ..

The ones that make me laugh are the ones who run at night with their front fog lights on, and their main lights on side lights only. I think they believe it makes their car go faster or something.

Using fog lights in clear weather simply means you're trying to show off ....

Qhris, you forgot:

1.People driving on the line which is splitting the lanes.

2.Drivers coming from a side street, waiting for you to approach from 500 meters to 10 meters and then “jumping” in front of you.

3.Some drivers from countries where the driving is on the left side of the road, exiting from a right side street, turning left and looking right.

5 annoying things from the roads this week;

1. Queuing at Airport Junction, cars thinking they are too special to queue like I did, and trying to push in via the Doha Rocks slip-road.

2. Allowing people 'out' of a junction, and not getting a 'thank you' wave back.

3. Salwa Road, car causing chaos by being in furthest left lane, then 100m from the roundabout, deciding he wanted to go right (forgot where he was going? idiot?) and crossing FOUR lanes without looking.

4. Woman on mobile phone, drifting across the lines at 80 kph into my lane.

5. Lights turn green at junction, then 1 second later a car 7 cars back in the queue BEEPS HIS HORN (?)

and a bonus

6. People driving slowly, weaving left and right, not using indicator, then just stopping on a highway. Am I a mindreader, jackass?

purplegrape, I guess you are talking about the front fog lights. What about the rear ones? It means that they are really not in a hurry? :P

Apparently here in Qatar, it means that the driver is in a hurry and wants you to give way for them. Guess they're having LBM or what.
