i didn't bound anybody not to travel by fly-dubai...

qway's also introduced such fare earlier and the people get addicted , want to fly by Qway's even now!!

@ rezymalik...i must've missed something,a few friends have flown it & said it was fine, flights on time, new aircraft, what more does one expect for a short hop flight?...they're a low cost airline mate, like with low cost airlines all over the world, the rates go up as one gets closer to the travel date but even the maximum fare will be significantly less than full fare carriers like QR or Emirates, hence the words full fare carrier as opposed to low cost carrier...just like Air Arabia, their maximum fares are NEVER as high as QR or Emirates so when you say "their rates will touch the sky",it's a misleading statement mate...

By anonymous• 12 Nov 2009 13:01

this is just the introductory period and the airline is infamous somehow...wait for some time...their rates would be touching the sky also...

your wife will definitely have a visa on arrival because as you said she is under your sponsor and your visa on your id is engineer...congratulation

Don’t be anxious about tomorrow, Let tomorrow be anxious of itself....JC

flydubai in Qatar...visit their website, pay online by credit card and get the boarding pass printed after payment.

Have you and your wife visited Dubai before and obtained visa on arrival (VoA)? then travel would be easy otherwise difficult.

She could carry Your PP & ID copy, to obtain visa on arrival even if she travels alone.....IF you have travelled with her before and got VoA.

First, where is office flydubai in Doha? Second, my wife wants to visit sister in Dubai, she is under my sponsorship, husband. In her Qatar ID she is housewife, here in Qatar from March 2009. I am engineer in Qatar ID, so, she can travel alone? Visa on arrival will be issue?

@ nqatar, visa on arrival in Dubai is based on two criteria, nationality or profession...either your nationality has to be on the approved list or your profession,i'm Indian/Asian but my profession is on the approved list so i get a visa on arrival...

Hi all, is the fare gone up? It was coming to QR550 for return, this is to fly around 15th of November.

It was around 400 return before, will still use it..

@ nqatar...does not common sense indicate to you that visa on arrival @ a destination & the airline you use to fly to that destination have NOTHING to do with each other???...so it'll be like "you came on Emirates so you get a visa but you came on flydubai, bad boy,no visa for you."...c'mon mate, apply some logic would you?...

journey is comfortable and pleasant.

UAE visas are not Airlines responsibility......if one fall under the special category of obtaining visa on arrivals, should fly otherwise they will fly you back without allowing to enter the country. Wrong info from Mannai....we got visa on arrival just last week.

Just heard from Mannai airways that when you travel with Fly Dubai you will not be able to get on arrival visa is it true?

Thanks,

nq

Terminal 2 has been upgraded so you have cafes and food places there as well as a duty free, its fine for a short flight to Doha. You can purchase food and drink on board. Yes you get bussed to your plane but no diff to Qatar and given the cheap fare who can complain....

I fly to Dubai reg for business meetings with our head office and this airline is fantistic, OK early days but they got off to a good start....will be interesting to see if Qatar Airways reduce their fares a bit.....although been a Qatar company with Qataries running it, they are not renouned for been the sharpest tacks in the box....

I flew back from Dubai on the 1st flight on Sunday. Everything went 100% smoothly, brand new plane, great service, nice terminal in Dubai (terminal 2). I'll def be using them again....can't recommend them highly enough...no way would I spend another 800-1000QR for Qatar Airways or Emirates...
