flights from doha to dubai! HELP!

Hi!

I am planning a trip over the see my Fiance for valentine's day and I found a really good deal on a flight with Qatar Airways for £209 (I usually pay around £380) from Manchester, however it is a flight to Dubai and despite flying through doha, I obviously can't get off there as I have to book through to Dubai to get the cheap deal....SOOO frustrating!

My question is, does anyone know the sort of prices of flight from Dubai to Doha? I have looked on a couple websites, like Emirates and Qatar Air but they are coming up with flights at around £200 - is this normal?? I thought it may work out cheaper for me to fly with the cheap one and then hop on a flight back to Doha with Dubai and Doha being pretty close?

Maybe not but worth a try....any advice?!

Love Beth x

What about if you do Doha as a stopover on either the way in, or way out. This should save you having to purchase any additional tickets.

You will still have to go via Dubai, but you don't have to stay there.

Unless there are restrictions on your tickets.

Air Arabia actually flies out of Sharjah airport. It is not much of a drive from the Dubai airport. You can get return flights for as low as 500DQR (~70GBP) if you book far enough in advance. But in all honesty, I think you should just buck up for a direct to Doha flight. You need to "pay yourself" as well, and the time and inconvienience of that kinda run-around will just cut into your hols and time with your fiance.

Just my 2 cents...

Why not just get off in Doha? No one will stop you...

Also, you should get a return flight Doha-Dubai for QR1000 (about 130 GBP methinxs) if you book it in Qatar.

Otherwise try Air Arabia (or something similar - it is a discount airline that flies from Abu Dhabi which is a few minutes drive from Dubai).
