flash player trouble on windows vista - HELP!

Your account got no administration privileges even if it shows that ... you gotta go to the Control Panel and disable the User Account Control [UAC] to be a real administrator. Vista got a lot of compatibility issues and I install it for testing purposes but I won't recommend it for any.

You should be having IE7 icon for sure on your desktop ... Right Click--> Run As Administrator .... Hope that will solve it ... otherwise tell me ...

better to take it to jarir as it will be under warranty. Me too never had any problems with vista on my laptop..perhaps u make a full system restore and see :)

try to bring it at HKH Computers, they have a good service for all kinds of PC, laptops, printers, ink refill etc. at al-sadd, opposite of Q-tel

vista is cool i like it. never had any problems with it.

i recently bought a new mini ibm

vista and installed the flashplayer and it worked out smooth no problems where there.

I'm afraid this is happening a lot with Vista, I experienced the exact same thing with MSN Messenger.

I had to take off Vista and put XP on. I would take it to the store where you got it and have the fix it, or put XP on instead of Vista. There are just too many problems with Vista!

still keeps asking me to update that new version i just installed... and if i press ok.. it loads.. then asks me to restart.. once i do and try to run it as admin again.. same story...

just hoping someone has a clue.. otherwise i'll just take it to jareer tmro and ask them to sor it out

did you try this got it from a help website too and u didnt mention if you did this

1. Open Computer.

2. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\.

3. Scroll down and open the Macromed directory.

4. Open the Flash directory.

5. Right-click FlashUtil9b.

6. Select Run as Administrator.

7. When the UAC prompt appears, select Continue.

8. Follow the Flash Player installation wizard.
