Fireman who lost their lives at Villaggio
When duty call's me, oh Lord,
Wherever Flames may rage,
Give me the strength to save some life
Whatever Be its age.
Help me embrace a little child
Before it is too late
Or save an older person from
The horror of that fate
Enable me to be alert,
and oh Lord, guide my every move,
for life is so precious,
please don't let us loose.
I want to fill my calling and
To give the best in me
To guard my every neighbor
And protect their property
And if according to thy will,
That I must give my life,
Then with thy protecting hand my Lord,
I pray thee, protect my children and my wife.
Amen
FROM A FELLOW RESCUER
Brother when you weep for me
Remember that it was meant to be
Lay me down and when you leave
Remember I'll be at your sleeve
In every dark and choking hall
I'll be there as you slowly crawl
On every roof in driving snow
I'll hold your coat and you will know
In cellars hot with searing heat
At windows where a gate you meet
In closets where young children hide
You know I'll be there at your side
The house from which I now respond
Is overstaffed with heroes gone
Men who answered one last bell
Did the job and did it well
As firemen we understand
That death's a card dealt in our hand
A card we hope we never play
But one we hold there anyway
That card is something we ignore
As we crawl across a weakened floor
For we know that we're the only prayer
For anyone that might be there
So remember as you wipe your tears
The joy I knew throughout the years
As I did the job I loved to do
I pray that thought will see you through

the other fireman is from Palestine,.. who are used to sacrifice themselves for what they believe in ,... I hope he's resting in piece up in the heavens,...
One of the firemen, I believe it's the Moroccan, Chabounne, carried out two of the infants, then went into the building again for the THIRD time, that's when he was overcome by the smoke.
What mental strength to go into a situation, knowing fully well that you might not make it. That's what's called courage.
Kudos to the Firemen Who Sacrificed their Life to Save others.... Hats Off
God have Mercy on their Souls - I know one of the firemen was a Moroccan - not sure about the other one...Brave men Shuhadaa god-willing

Ameen!
I would like to know if there are any agencies in Doha, who provide ONLY packing services for our household fragile items like LCD TV / Crockery sets as I do wish to ship them overseas. Plz share info about any of them.
Humble occupation,,, but great! (Rather thansitting and drinking tea in the airconditioned offices) Hehe!
I salute to them. May their souls rest in peace!
