Hello guys...

I have few questions to ask you... because we are leaving qatar and happened to have few areas to wipe
before we go....

First Question...

I have a brand new car loaned from HSBC last May 2008 and paid 10 months already.... I want to sell to it to somebody for a few thousands and let him continue the bank loan... is this possible?

Hello guys... i would appreciate continuing this thread to enlighten us all... about my 3rd question...

Heres my 3rd question:

I have a problem with my present company... they are not giving my gratuity entitlement... which is standard... what they were telling me, its part of the "all inclusive in salary"... but the only thing that was mentioned in the "all inclusive" rate were just the basic salary, transport and housing... is there any chance to have this gratuity?

Hey guys... thanks for all your inputs...about my car.

Maui... you were asking about my contract... yes. the contract is finished for 1 year... they mentioned that they will not renew it anymore... my visa had expired last march... i still have 90 days to decide if i will renew it again.

Samael... thanks for your overview... you have a point. Gratuity is only given at the end of service.

I don't think you will get anybody willing to take over your loan, and alos pay you QR 10,000 cash.

This basically means that they are paying the price you paid for the car 10 months ago, doesn't make sense at all. After all, you did use it...

Consider the money lost, and focus on transferring the loan!

i doubt if somebody will pay you QR10k cash for your car. there are so many people who want to leave and just giving out their cars for assume-balance deal.

just think of it as if you rented the car for 10 months for QR1200 monthly.

and the bank staff hates this due to paper works. better sell your car on CASH basis and settle your account from the bank. owning a car will not gain anything, every mileage and years of your car means depretiation of its value.

there was problem. I have HONDA CITY 2006 model and I did intend to transfer my outstanding bank car loan to another person but unfortunately DOHA bank told me that the new buyer has to pay 300 more on monthly payment i.e. i used to pay QAR.1064 and the new buyer had to pay 1364/- including early settlement charges with car depreciation difference. It all adds up in your outstanding loan amount hence increasing MONTHLY settlement amount unacceptable for the new buyer.

.

I would say that you have to sell it out in cash and you have to settle the remaining difference from your pocket.

.

No body will take NISSAN TIIDA 2006 model for higher Loan installment while latest model will cost less installment amount.

.

Sorry, this is the only option for you dear.

getsevilla, you cannot return back all your money that you spent for the car.. :):)

for 3 years old car you will be lucky to get about

60-65% back.

Gratuity payment is never included in salary, all inclusive just means they are too lazy at payroll to partition your salary properly. Gratuity is only paid at the end of a service and because your contract says "all inclusive" this means they have to pay you 3 weeks a month at the full salary rate, as it does not say basic... they are trying to shaft you.

check your contract and see what it says. how long have you been working for this employer? is your visa cancelled, due to termination for a cause, or you resigned?

sell your car at NO profit. what ever the balance you have in the bank, then that should be your selling price. I change car every 2 years and I have no problem selling my old car. recently I sold my honda same day I posted to QL.

as long as you want, but you will pay penaltied for each overstaying day, starting from the 8th day. It means you can stay with no penalty for 7 days, then penaltiy is applied.

so again, why wouldn't you post in Classified? I am sure you can find the buyer.. Tiida is not expensive, rather cheap, so the chance of selling it is quite high.

I really dont understand why you waist your time on all these questions instead of concentrating on selling the car??

It's like people start discussing: CAN i find the job or i CANNOT? Man, just go and send your CVs and you will see whether you can or you cannot...

same here: just sell the car, man!
