How can you fail to set someone on fire having just doused them with petrol. She had so much difficulty trying to set him alight, that he had time to call the police, the police to drive to the scene (having stopped in Mc Donald's for a burger, drop their laundry off, and repair a tyre puncture on the way) and for them to stop her in the nick of time, just as she realised she was striking the wrong end of the match on the box.
Mj, flame thrower is expensive, she was using a cheap way to get rid of her husband... ;)
now you made me google "history" of Madhya Pradesh.
husband caught her red-handed mingling with someone, & tried to bring her & lover into justice!
She should've kept a lighter in her pocket for back up...
actually, setting him on fire to be meant seduced him!!
What a cold man!!!The poor lady could not set him on fire even with "props" like fuel and a matchbox????!!!BBBRRRRR...
I too was a lttle confused..
Apparently the additional superintendent of police (Korba), Mr T.R. Koshima, said over phone.
"the two hailed from Madhya Pradesh and were not on good terms with each other for the past few months."

Ok Brit, I'm "blonde" on that connection. :( further explanation please. :(

She doused him with petrol and was just about to light the match, that she saw his todger - and for a few moments the memories of the good times had came flooding back..
Giving him enough time to run and call the police..
she should've just used a flame thrower... why did she want to set him on fire anyway?
