Loved every moment we spent there.
I would suggest all parents to take their kids to this exhibition. They would love it !

Yeah, you are right, wirehead.
The scars and blemishes on his skin were captured and looked just amazing!
.
i went there the first weekend they opened. being an anime & manga lover, the concepts aren't new for me but this is the closest thing i can get to japanese pop culture here in doha.
btw, it's not exactly a statue or sculpture, it's a self-portrait balloon of the artist. even the scars are visible. pretty cool.
am planning to come back there when i have a weekend free.
Entrance fee =
25 QAR per adult.
Free for children.
Exhibition is upto 24th June.

Tfs satheesh....
clownfish,
This exhibition is located at Museum of Islamic Art, at Corniche. While driving on the Corniche road, and if you take a look at towards the Museum, you cannot miss the huge wall, all painted colorfully!!
The statue is a 'self portrait' of the artist. My son standing next to it was amazed to see the level of details put into that sculpture!
.
but if u c his toes u will know that it is a statue
Me too Clown fish, thought a guy holding a miniture human... a bit creepy to realize its a giant sculpture :O
i thought the first picture is a real person holding a human toy but it's the opposite. nice! where's the location taken?
