Estimated arrival time
Who would you trust to be more accurate with there estimated flight arrival times; Qatar Airways or Doha International Airport?
Which ever gets the most votes is the one I'll use.
You think they'd show the same time, and you just hope that the airport is expecting the plane when it turns up!

Well it turns out neither of them at all accurate.
I last checked the websites at 10 minutes before the scheduled landing time;
- The airport said it was landing 5 minutes early.
- Qatar Airways said it was landing 5 minutes late.
Close enough not to worry about. So I went to the airport and ended up having to wait around because it actually landed 25 minutes late. Granted that's not a huge difference, but I'm surprised they can't be more accurate.
So SAMAEL, obviously the airports control tower isn't very good at tracking. That's a little worrying.
And stealth, as the flight took off exactly on time it seems that your theory of using that to predict the landing time doesn't work.
Qatar airways uses their sheduled ETA.
Doha airport uses a Tracked ETA, which they can do because of the control tower

i would trust non
that come from my experiences they were always dilate or earlier time
both of them dont give the accurate time. Check the time of departure from any flight tracking website and you can easily know when the flight is gonna land
I would trust the Doha air port.

I used the Qatar Airways flight tracker...said it was arriving at so and so time, got to the airport in good time to find the flight didn't land for another hour!
Yes macgyver, but you'd hope that they'd be estimating the same time, what with one of them having to find a landing slot for the other!!!

lol tallg...that's why they have termed it as "ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL"...otherwise they should have renamed it to "EXACT TIME OF ARRIVAL"
