English Football - Championship

Ok, so everybody around the world knows of the English Premier League, and no doubt if you ask someone what team they support, it will be Man Utd, Liverpool or Arsenal. (Although the glory supporters will now change to Man City..........!)

Anyway, the football fixtures will be released tomorrow, so many of us are waiting to see when our respective teams will be playing their key matches next season.

My team is in the Championship, and I am a Huddersfield Town fan. (Through thick, and thin!)

Any other Championship team supporters out there?!

Without portfolio - he was sacked by Barnet 3 games before the end of the season - the ignomany!!!!!

Never liked Sanchez - always thought he was punching above his weight - gawd knows how he snagged the NI job - he was soon found out though. Next stop Nepal, India, Pakistan, Turmenistan....always on the lookout for a throughbred British manager!!!!!!

You have to go lower down than the championship to get to my team - whilst Huddrsfield went in one direction, the mighty Wycombe went in the other - so you will forgive me if I dont quite get as excited as you concerning the fixture list tomorrow when our travels next season will take us to such footballing hotbeds as Fleetwood, York, Burton, Dagenham.................. you get the picture!!

Its going to be a slog this season.... but we love our team and could never be accused of being glory chasers.

Leeds have a great following, decent team, but a lousy manager ..

Now then!

Yes, we had a cracking season. A little shocked at the sacking of Lee Clarke, but fortunately Larry Grayson (Leeds cast off) has come up trumps and got us through a nerve racking play off campaign.

I though there were some championship games shown on Al Jazeera? If not, then its back to streaming off t'inernet!

You turnip. We are talking about the Championship, not Premiership :O)

Iamthexxx: The Leeds Team of the early 70s was awesome. Billy Bremner as Captain and Clarke and Jones leadiung the line. The only weak point was Gary Sprake the goalkeeper. We called him Dracula - because he was scared of Crosses :O)
