Emirates "kids go free" Offer

Emirates Airline has dismissed suggestions that its latest promotion, offering children free flights, accommodation and meals in Dubai, is being launched in reaction to a drop in demand for seats.

The Dubai-based carrier told Arabian Business on Thursday that offering families affordable packages to visit the emirate is the only reason for launching the ‘kids go free’ scheme.

“This promotion has been launched to offer our customers the opportunity to have a family holiday in a unique destination without breaking their budget,” Russell Sheldon, senior vice president for Emirates’ network passenger sales development, said.

Actually they ask complainers to send them a private message or send an e-mail, and yes they mainly re-tweet compliments

Oh no more howling brats on flights....flinging their food and kicking your seat (yep I got my seat kicked all the way from Doha to Cape Town once)

I hope the offer includes sticking the mutts in the cargo hold .......

I read the Emirates website and it seems like a genuine, honest deal with no major catches.

You'll still have to pay the taxes on the tickets, but other than that there are no hidden fees etc.

Visit the Emirates site for more info:

From "select cities to Dubai"...

Sure, I'm sure it's:

Kids go for free, if they're infants who sit on a lap.

Kids go for free, you just pay the taxes.

Kids go for free, if you start your trip from Bahrain, Muscat, any city in Zimbabwe, or Izmir, Turkey.

Kids go for free, to a limit of 2 kids.

Kids go for free, if they're under 3 years old.
