Accha, You'r right , most people just don't take caution at home or work before touching a usual simple looking liquids , but there'r occasions when you must ask yourself whether it is safe to touch or ask the concerned & responsible persons .... Safety conscious would take the hint ...

It is a common practice in Asian countries coming down hundreds of centuries. How else can one check this? It is just like telling people not to use the tongue for tasting the salt in the food!! What a wild suggestion! This is what is termed as writing just for the sake of writing --- whether it makes sense or not.
