Education on Fire safety equipments!!
The accident which happened today is very sad!!i think on the happening such a disastrous event we need to think a lot regarding the safety settings we have in qatar. Every office and building has all necessary fire safety equipments, but the most important aspect is does any one know how to operate them????am sure these malls have all such facilities but still such a worse accident happened....so i seriously feel that keeping all safety equipments does not mean you are safe. The knowledge of how to use them is the most important.
Even in my kitchen i have a fire extinguisher...am sorry to say that when a fire breaks out i seriously doubt whether i will be in a position to use it on time....may be after some hesitation i may open it but still using them at the right time is more important and life saving.
Being in Qatar i would request the government to consider the prospects of training people on these equipments along with the installation.
Its only my opinion ...please pool in urs as well if you feel it could made practical!!!...god bless the victims and their family.....
When it's all forgotten, it sure is the time to discuss it. Everybody will be dead interested then.
Not really the time for that now. We can discuss causes and problems later.
