Johnny Depp plays Edward D. Wood Jr., famous for probably being called the worst director in cinematic history. A funny tone of a comedy, in black-and-white, Ed Wood makes his 'career' by directing his first 'famous' movie Glen or Glenda. Getting a bunch of 'actors' from wherever they come from, having a producer out of debts, having to wear a woman's sweater and play a woman in his own movie, and having to 'convince' Bela Lugosi (played remarkably by Martin Landau) to star in his movies, all these crappy stuff of production shooting and a bunch of heavy ragtags of boos and flops from both the major studios and from the audiences itself makes this movie a one hell of a laughter.
