They are sending from MY e-mail address to all e-mails from my Contact List the following message:
Dear Friend,
Apologize for disturbing you, my friend. Hope you will have a look at the letter.
It is once in a blue moon.Come to the website (www.elec-bestseller.cn )to buy or you will regret. It is the lowest price I have seen. That is so great.
The newest golden apple iphone only cost 335Euros . If you buy two we will send a free apple iphone 8GB (worth 188Euros).
The newest iphone 16Gb only cost 265Euros, and the iphone 8GB only cost 188Euros.It is so unbelivable.Nearly half of the price on the market.
If you buy two or more items we offer free shipping. If you buy more than 1000Euros we will send a free apple iphone 8GB.(188Euros). If you buy more than 200Euros we will send a free mp4 worth 60Euros That is a good opportunity.
Here is the contact MSN:
[email protected]
Hope you take a look.
Have a nice day.
Yours sincerely,

.....It looks like it goes automatically to all e-mail addresses which are saved in my contacts list. Even the same e-mail has been sent to my other e-mail account. First I was surprised to see the e-mail from myself to myself which I have never sent..I ignored it.. but then the replies from my friends from the contacts list started coming into my Inbox. Guys were asking whether I got a part-time job as a promoter of the apple iphone.. :):)
But I have never done it!
What should I do to stop this spam?

that maybe sent by someone from a website where anyone can use anyone's e-mail address.

you did contact someone from that company or replied to one of their mails or even opened the mail. Opening those mails will issue a certificate to the spammers and from there they got your mail.

They are using your Address book and maybe every single e-mail address that you got there to send spams to everyone.

The first step that you should start with, changing your e-mail account password after running a full system scan to remove any viruses, malware or adware that might infected your system.

Be careful not to change the password before scanning your system, there might be some keystroke loggers there.

You can try this link to scan your system online if you got no antvirus:

Download for free Spybot from this link, update it and then run a full system scan:

Guess you need to virus scan them all to be sure.

Sounds like the typical behaviour of a virus.

QS, the same thing happened to a couple of friends. They notified everyone that it wasn't from them, and they closed their email accts and opened new ones.
