Just got done using the e-Government site to renew my driving license.

You still have to go to the traffic department for a vision test but it makes everything very smooth.

Great experience. Highly recommended.

Also found out on the site that my wife has a 300 QR speeding ticket!

Yes, I subscribed to their Metrash sms and it's come in handy once already.

The ministry of Interior site is even better...Specially for visa application and tracking..traffic fines...and expiry of your permits...
