Denpasar, Indonesia, April 25, 2014 , A drunk passenger sparked a hijack alert on a Virgin Australia flight heading for the Indonesian resort island of Bali on Friday when he attempted to break into the cockpit, officials said.

Security forces rushed to the airport when the Boeing 737-800 touched down on the popular resort island, after the pilot reported the Brisbane to Bali flight had been hijacked, Indonesian authorities said.

However, Virgin Australia said the drunken passenger had sparked a false alarm when he slammed on the cockpit door. Indonesian police named him as Matt Christopher and said he had been arrested.

no way bobe! But its up to each one out there! If they have deciced to drink....people like us can't change them(even if we want to!)coz it's their life and their choice. So i was just tryng to rationalize things..!Have first hand exp with such people! However hard we try,all our words fall on deaf ears.

They come up with one excuse or another, but i don't give up so soon u know!

Who knows they might learn for themselves one day.Till then let them atleast

control their intake,so that the drastic outcomes are lessened.

Both.First of all, just say no! Resisting the pressure to drink reduces risk for everyone. Alcohol is not a necessary ingredient.

Also, if u drink, decide your drink limit and stick to it. Never drink more than you know you can handle.Always remember that alcohol is a complement, not the purpose. Drinking is as much of a choice as it is a responsibility.Try to keep your brain cells by establishing safe, responsible drinking habits for yourself and those around or else things may surely go out of control...!
