Even if you 'teach' them, they won't follow.

yeah.

Hazard lights should NOT be used while the car is moving.

I saw lot of cars using them while moving. Wrong!

And I saw a car (black colored)parked at a roundabout which was blanketed by fog, but the hazard lights were not flashing! Terribly Wrong!!!

Who is gonna teach them driver all these basic stuff?

.

Hazard lights are ONLY used for NON-MOVING objects! But this simple rule is too much for the idiots in Qatar!

If your car dont have fog lamps, just turn on your head light and drive SLOW. Hazard lights are used only for emergency. Just imagine during a fog you really had an emergency stop, there are chances for another driver to hit your car from back because he also thinks you are driving with hazard lights on during the fog.

You are supposed to turn on your headlights in fog so that your tail lights are also turned on - so people CAN see you.

However, there are so many cars on the road that don't have tail lights that function at all (even when braking) that may not be an option for idiots who don't check or maintain their vehicles properly

Using hazard lights makes you a hazard to other drivers.

Get rid of the driving instructors and employ competent ppl 2 do the job.

If u can tell me where in the rule book is it that u suppose to drive with hazards on I salute u. As far as my knowledge goes it is if there is something wrong with your vehicle it is used.

You will notice only certain ppl do that when driving and it is a monkey c monkey do thing.

Well I guess it is suppose to b TIQ but hey who runs Q???

hahahah

if no fog lights are available the only way to signal your car in the fog is by using the hazard lights.

That's because the regular lights can be mistaken for something else... unless you want to switch your lights on and off all the time...

if you using hazzard you have to be careful that it would be not flashing when you want to use the indicator for turning right or left and try to drive slowely and be catious of other drivers mistake. Have safe drive all.

The worst bit is all these idiots drive round with their fog lights on a normal night because it looks cool!

And then when it is foggy they are no where to be seen!

To quote the a famous film: You can teach monkeys to drive better than that!

It was in the news paper last year and it is the rule, NOT TO USE HAZARD LIGHTS during fog. But they still dont know the rules, so what to do. How to fix them?

There is no logical reason for driving with hazard lights flashing.

This happens in the Gulf. People think using hazard lights is ok during fog.

of course an un-defined issue...

Last year when i was appearing in the driving test, my friends told me that some inspectors declare You fail if You put these HW Lights on & some vice versa. Any How Alhamdo Lillah I passed the road & luckily there was no fog on that morning.

To me it should remain off,,,, because it can attract some one to come closer to You & give u a back lash.

JUST USE YOUR DIM BEAM...

I know. It's unbelievable. What car doesn't have fog lights?

If you use hazards how can anybody tell which way you're turning or going round a roundabout? Mind you, it's not ike anybody in this country knows what indicators are for anyway so I don't suppose it makes a difference.

For cars that don't have fog lights, flickering lights at the back may help make it more visible from a distance..

However, in a roundabout or before a turn, one should put them off and use the indicators instead.
