Drinking and smoking combo: how do you do it?

Just went to a birthday party hours ago and had my hard liquor drink since before Ramadan.

It is regular on a non-Muslim birthday party to have a mix of food, liquor, smoking, fun, chats and such. Kinda reminded me how I asked two of my officemates how they can do a mix of smoking and drinking without any such problems. Their answer was 'because we are regular smokers'.

Strange to say that I can tolerate both smoking and drinking...but separately. Somehow, while drinking, if I smell a cigarette smoke, I felt a need to vomit what I might've digested or drank. I dunno why. But if I didn't drink, my body can tolerate the smoke whether I eat food or not or just any regular day.

I'm sorry if I do not smoke, but how do you people who can drink and smoke at the same time do it without having stomach, lung, or any physical problems afterwards?

And the best thing about people who can smoke and drink simultaneously is that it lessens their appetite for food, in which food is best served while drinking to nurture the balance of your stomach...but they can. I'm impressed.

I'm not saying I wanna stop them from doing it. I just wanted to know how they can do it.
