Dreambox not only depends your internet connection but, also it depends the server's internet connection. Freezing

depends on poor internet connection( server and client), overloading the card on server, the enigma, cam that used in your dreambox, poor network cable. Remember one thing

WATCHING PAY TV WITHOUT A VALID SUBSCRIPTION IS ILLEGAL.

I bought my dreambox locally blank (800QAR), the rest I managed myself. Go down al waab street, coming from the villagio, at the big traffic light go right, next right, at the traffic light, cross the road, look for galaxy electronis.

I have the same receiver and all the channels are working perfectly (Nilesat and Hotbird). Few days ago, my technician came and he installed a second LNB because starting with 15th of Jan, few channels shall move on different satellite.

You can come to my place and connect your receiver to my internet connection (Qtel, 2mega) and… we shall know what the problem is!

Let me know if you fixed the problem or if you need any assistance…

Thanks for that, I am with Galaxy in Al-Magarb street, if they read this and wish to do something about it other than fobbing me off with crap id be pleased to hear it.

Do you have the number or contact for the service provider in Bahraine and how do I go about changing. I have also lost a lot of channels, the Pay per view ones TV max? used to work, now nothing... do they work for you guys.

i have my dreambox

and 512 internet connection .. working perfectly

my subscription is with some1 in Bahrain .. and its gr8 freezs rarely

freezing is normally due to the load on the same card or server .. the more people on the same server makes it slower, freezes more often,

or sometimes becuase of the position of LNB is not accurate but if u r getting other channels from same satellite clear ... so its not the position definetly

and internet connection if its a dial up connection u can blame but DSL 1 mb connection i don't think so .. better find some other service provider

its not the connection, its the subscription. it could be reception but if all other channels are clear than its ok. change the place you got the subscription from.

by the way how much did it cost you.

I think it's a combination of poor dish positioning and over-subscribed card-sharing server.

Some channels are worse than others.
