Hi, few days back we went to doha torch to have dinner in its 360 revolving restaurant that's probably on 47th floor, but we were told on the torch information desk that kids under 10 years of age aren't allowed in that reataurant,so we had to change our venue as some friedns had kids under 10. but i m just surprised, is it true? I did not confirm this info from the reataurant itself but If anyone knows about it plz share.

well I had a dinner a day before yesterday in three sixty restaurant, I thought to share my experience with u guys,,,well the overall experience was nice except the food (It was tasteless and expensive specially for the quantity served) and they have very limited options on their menu,I must say they need to improve their menu and food flavor,,the restaurant is on 47th floor and it revolves very slowly, the whole restaurant is on kind of a circular belt with static floor on both sides and central belt revolves very smoothly n slowly so that u can eat comfortably,u get a very nice view of doha specially at night. Their staff seemed to be a bit reserved specially the girls. It felt like robots are serving us, though some Filipino staff members were quite friendly. And yes what I loved the most was Live piano was being played there by a pianist named David.

The total bill for two main course meals (single servings)and one salad, one 7up n one small water bottle was QR 380.

u need to make a reservation before u visit and one more important information is that children of any age are allowed during lunch time but for dinner only kids over 10 years of age are allowed. so that's all about it.I shared my experience so that u can have an idea of the restaurant before u visit.

have fun :)

I'm sure there were plenty of children there when we went for dinner, with parents and maids looking on uselessly as the kids made dinner intolerable for the rest of us.

Due to the restaurant fine dining concept, children under the age of 10 are not allowed during dinner times.

Children under 10 are not allowed, but as usual, many Qatari's chose to ignore that rule, and,as usual, they get away with it. There was a family with 3 small noisy kids and a baby in a buggy in when I was there a few weeks ago. Extremely annoying when you want a better class of restaurant experience that ends up no better than MacDonalds!

I agree. If parents could control their kids then no problem, but I don't want to spend my hard earned money to have kids ruining the experience. That being said, I know families that have been there for lunch, so maybe the rule is only enforced in the evening, which again is fair enough.

Its a posh restaurant for adults not a food court. I personally would not pay hundreds of riyals for a meal with kids running around and making noise. Plus, it's not a safe environment for kids. Good for them.
