The main reason I went down to the concert was because I want to see Qatar Philharmonic playing. One of our QL’er, Dimtorch, are with QPO as a violist.

Ronald Bakers first day performance, though it was a short one, was also great too. Sorry couldnt watch his trumpet show.
Been waiting for your write-up Novi, thanks!
We went last night (even dragged hubby along!!), and it was an excellent show.
The Tricia Evy trio, followed by the Ronald Baker Quintet.
I discovered last night that I DO like jazz, lol, was just never exposed to it much before.
Ronald Baker is a fantastic trumpet player, so son was glad to get a chance to talk with him briefly afterwards, get the CD, and get his autograph.
NFH Lucky you !!! We had some friend around so I cant go last night.
Now i am off to watch the one for tonight :) x
I like jazz but not the traditional one, the one with QPO and sort off improvisation classical stuffs with jazz it was really fun.
