Maybe even you do not know the exact reasons Fairy. Leave it to your heart to reach out to him.

I am happy without him. Maybe that's the reason why we were separated.

Fairy There are somethings in life we cannot explain and pronounce a judgement. Only he will be able to tell you what made him to that. Maybe there was something really drastic in that situation. I hope you do find your father and I am sure you will understand.

Want to ask my "father" why he left and never came back. Why he's not there when I learn to speak "Daddy". Why he's not there when my class program in pre school asked us to introduce our father. Why he's not there in my graduation speech. Why he's not there when a guy hurt me in the first time. Why he's not there when on my 16th. Why he made in the first place and just abandon me.

My daughter is 1.5 yrs old and it was about 3-4 months back that she called me 'pappa' for the first time. I still remember that special feeling when she looked at me and called me pappa... i could really make out from her face that she really was calling me... It was gr8....

Do talk to my dad regularly, but still miss his patient, guiding physical presence next to me, while I blabber my mouth off about everything under the sun. :)

Miss my Dad. What I am today is because of him....always told me there is nothing a girl cannot do if she put her mind to it.

Samir I know how painful it must be for you. But have a little fortitude and keep trying. You will find a way. Have faith. Everything will change. Your love for your daughter will bring her to you, no matter how, it is just matter of time. I am praying for you to have your little baby in your arms and God willing it will happen.

Saying sorry is not the hardest thing to do, I really know that I made mistakes my friend, but forgiveness for some people (99%) is very hard to do. I wish that I can finish my pain in a way or another, if it wasn't being coward to commit suicide I would have done it long time ago, I wish that I have lost my life and did not lose my daughter, You know what I am out of this thread I can't anymore........................

And WK you will make a perfect Dad for a little girl and I am sure she will have you twisted around her little finger as mine has.

By Mehnis• 5 Jun 2010 19:23
Mehnis

I am sorry to hear that Samir but then life throws up difficult times for everyone. Give it one more chance. It takes a very brave person to ask for forgiveness and to forgive. I pray that you will get your daughter in your arms very soon. Life is not worth it without them my friend. Stretch out your hand and try.

That is really touching I can't see my daughter she is now 5 years old, I did not see her since she was 10 months I really petty every father who can't see his family am trying to get in hold with her, but to say the truth not knowing if she is okay or not bothers me the most, if I really could know that she is okay this is for now the most I would hope from God, although all was my mistake yet I can't tolerate this kind of punishment I really don't find any mistake in the world of humans which deserves this kind of harsh punishment. I really wish the best for all dads and moms the best with their kids and I would say "Hold on them for ever, don't ever let go, just in a good way they won't slip away"

Everyone has got his own story in this world, some lost for dead some lost for something else this is life very harsh and somehow unfair.

If and when I have a child, I want it to be a girl. I have already thought of the name too :-P

Ya I am stupid :)

By Mehnis• 5 Jun 2010 19:08
Mehnis

Ah no Rishi heard about it but both my wife and I, even in the ultra sound scans, refused to ask the gender though it is illegal in India to state the gender.

We always wanted a girl and we got one. A girl who is the heaven's most beautiful Angel. My cup of joy is overflowing with my little girl around.

By Mehnis• 5 Jun 2010 15:44

Ask any father what a daughter means to him Fairy. There are unfortunate incidents where the father and daughter are separated due to certain circumstances but the love always remains intact.

By Fairy_WatsUrWish• 5 Jun 2010 15:41
Fairy_WatsUrWish

but why Mehnis?

By Mehnis• 5 Jun 2010 15:39
Mehnis

Now I know why there are some communities in Kerala where the groom goes to the brides house after marriage and lives there. The system is that the house or property belongs to the daughter and not to the son.

I should do something like that so that I have my daughter with me till the day I die even if she is married.

By Mehnis• 5 Jun 2010 15:32

Daughters are the blessings on earth. Love them to eternity and they will return the same. What would a father not do for just one look of her face, her smile and laughter??
