hi! im new here in doha and i have no idea were to find quality but cheap bikes. i went to some stores in Najma but the bikes were china made. im looking for US made or anything but not china made. thank you in advance!
The information is very usefull, i did phone the Cycling Federation and turned upto to a meeting place on a friday morning but to find nobody there.
I would like to ride again soon, so details of where you meet would be good, but I'm not to sure where Al Jazi is are you able to give me some pointers? or a contact so i can meet up with you.
There are several, loosely organized groups that head out. Some meet at the Shetaron at 6am. The group with which I ride meets at Al Jazi around 6:30 (will get earlier as it gets hotter). Varying distance, but a typical ride is about two hours. We will vary the location....ride to Al Kharj, ride the Corniche (in a mini-paceline), or head around town.
Its the racing type, like those riden in the Tour de France. I have seen some people out but am trying to contact anybody who also part takes in the same as so far not managed to ride here.
Hi, I do ride my bicycle and i've ordered a Jeep Cherooke mountain bike from the US. There is one at the city center but it's far more expensive.
You can ride her, indeed it's convenient becasue of the traffic, and the u-shape nature of the streets. You'll save a lot of time and it will be a pleasure to sneak in front of the stuck cars in the traffic..well not really I wish the best for all.
I had a classical bike but since i ride most of the time on the pedestrian road or off road i recognize the need for a moutain bike here.

Hi, you can get really good bikes from Toysrs. These are good US made bycicles that average from 600-750 rials.
I bought my Huffy last week from there.
If you want to go for taugher stuff like Honda or Jeep cherooke bycicles, they cost arond 1900 rials.
