do we have edge facility for I Phones?

Hi All,

We just got our I Phone and got it unlocked though we are not in Qatar now our international roaming Q Tel Hala Card works fine in the unlocked I Phone.

My question is since the Qtel card works fine here outside Qatar can we assume it would work fine in Doha too?

And secondly does Qtel give edge technology for internet usage on IPhones?

Though we have wifi at home we might not have wifi at work or when we are on the move.

So without wifi, edge is the only way we can use GPS chat, email and you tube right?

Can anyone help please?

Yes it would work with the GPRS network system which QTEL got,(Edge is a faster version of the Standard GPRS) BUT the Phone needs a few Tweaks to run with GPRS.
