I was in Dubai for 5 years. Malls aren't treating us like that. It happens only in Doha. Good advice tess..might as well go when mall opens at 10 am. btw, i ended up going in to Hyatt Mall. Fortunately, the guard let me IN..lol!

MSG i agree with you. I went to Villagio last weekend. I was pissed off when the security stopped me from entry since I do not have a female company with me. And when 1 white guy was coming in - no further q asked, that dumbed guard let him IN. I said come on, what the fu.. is going on here? What's wrong with being a Filipino? that's really absurd...

you can descriminate your nanny but it doesnt mean you can rape her...you can disriminate the laborers but it doesnt mean you dont need to pay their labors.....

they work very hard for a very little reward.....

By anonymous• 15 Jul 2009 12:52

Alpha Wolf...

If you are dumb enough to believe what has been written in the newspapers here and take that for 'reality'. Fine. You forget that there is no such thing as 'freedom of press' here and that you are reading what they ALLOW you to read.

One nanny steals from her employer, and you have an opinion.

What about the businessmen that do not pay a 1000 laborers for months on end?

What about all the nannies that get beat, raped and god knows what horrors happen to them behind walls?

No no... nannies are evil. sure.

Discriminitation is inhumane, forbidden by most religions, and still practiced everywhere. And some people say "no big deal". Wow!

It is the Housemaids who are abusing their employers/sponsors. That is and has been the real problem. And their pay should be set at the bare minimum because they are over compensated by employer generousity......

Will those people that state....

"It is global, it is everywhere, no biggy"

....get their heads out of their asses and be a bit less passive, as you are justifying racism.

What you are saying is

"I can use and abuse my nanny because my neighbor does it"

i went to an Indian restaurant, and a Mallu behind me was served first. :(

I went to a barber asking for a Brad Pitt haircut and came out looking like gandhi.:(

I went to Carrefour and was told to leave my bag by the guard. The guy behind me was allowed in with his rucksack :(
