Dirty Building
I need to find a way to ask Baladyah people to come and check the building were im staying.
Mansoura, Al-Abanouse St.
The lanlord doesnt come ofcourse, but his deputy comes and he just ignores the thing, and none of the neighbors are willing to help in cleaning.
Its full of dirt. Whoever moves out, just keep their old things there without throwing in the trash..
it looks like a trash area, but even worse.
Please help :(
It looks like a garbage station where the garbages are thrown and collected by baladiya.
stripeslvr hmmm.. good job...
Thanks ingeniero, I changed my post accordingly, as long as one other person knows who I am referring to makes it all better...
What or who is baladiya?I live in Al Maha towers in the diplomatic district and our bldg. might be somewhat better but still dirty. The owner lives out of the country and the bldg. manager, a guy names Parvez (?), is a crook who NEVER answers emails or cares about the tenants' comments or complaints. The bldgs. smell like garbage, the elevators are DIRTY, the windows are so filthy I can't really see the nice view my employer pays for, the curtains are so cheap they literally disintegrate into pieces and fall to the ground and what's worse, we all seem to share the same ventilation system which blows out cigarette smoke into my apt. (my son has asthma) and there is nobody to ask for help. Their kiddie pool has green algae and is missing filter covers in and outside the pool. They don't fix your appliances, you have to replace them if they break or are damaged (I had just moved into my apt. and had to pay to fix my laundry machine which according to them had never been used before). I'd love to continue because there is so much to complain about and venting surely helps my frustration but I'll spare you all and stop. So my question is precisely that, who in authority can I complain about if the bldg owner doesn't care and the manager cares less?BTW, this bldg (Al Maha Towers )has workers who are rude and lazy and never seem to wash their shirt but when I walk to Beverly Hills across the street to their dry cleaners and grocery store I can't help but feel impressed at how clean and friendly their staff are. I write this in case someone looking into Al Maha towers has a choice in residence location.
stripeslvr ,don't mention this nationality my dear, it will lead to nationality bashing. you can do all complains without mentioning any nationality..
Let us ask Rizk how many times he has changed the house, instead of supporting the poor fellow who is in deep trouble, he is told as ashamed...look nojnoj you gotta fight this, no matter noone is with you..get the number of baldia and call them almost everyday...atleast some sensible will hear and take action..
this is a person working in muncipility. :)he is the big boss, and listen to the complaints.. you can find him near al saad plaza, near farusiya round about.. different locations :)
hmmm... well now he is doing good job advertise it here. and leave it.. but first he have to check contract with them, plus notice one/two months before contract finishing.. these owners will never let you go easily..
right now .. or with in a month or two?? :pGOod Morning Miss Bell :)
poor situation... seems somehow like ours.. but in our flats not this much things are present, nor that much dirty.. the only problem is smell..learn patience... :)
I can understand your feeling as I had gone through this before. We all come here as expats to earn a better living, and as we live, we live like this in areas like these, it's horribile. Actually, this affects our "mind" much more than our "physical". PPL need to have more civic sense and should take charge on their own duties and responsibilities. We do talk much on our "rights" and "discriminiations", but very few do come forward to highlight issues like this. I really appreciate you for brining this matter to light. --- I think as "s_isale" noted, baladiya can help you I hope......
You can complain those to Baladiya, they have a toll free no...... i have seen there hoarding opposite to Dasman somewhere on the roads or check with Qtel 180.
LOL britey !
Shhhh...dont disclose in public where i park my bike and where i have thrown tat sofa and bought a stool instead.....:)
Isn't that Rizks' bike and the old sofa from his Karak Chai Stall ?
just get the baladiya guy and ask him to remove all these things
Wow... must have been a great party ;)
looks like some waste treatement plant and not a building....:(
u should be ashmed of urself for staying in such kinda place.
