Customer Care-Qtel
Hello,
Does anyone know where to escalate the Qtel customer care service issues. I applied for a Mozaic connection at my home almost a month ago and still waiting for the mercy of the installation team for appointment.
While I am driving office today, I thought of calling my mom and then understood that my outgoing calls were barred. I called the Qtel support and asked the reason for the same. The following transcripts of the call clearly reflects the monopolistic market conditions and Qtel's efforts to achieve the customer ecstasy:
Though I got the information yesterday that my connection was converted into post-paid, the call agent was rude and insisting that the connection is still pre-paid. After with great difficulty I convinced her and then she came to the conclusion that 'MAY BE' it is on the transition.
Me: When can I get out of this state?
Call agent : I don't know.
me: I use this phone for business purpose and at least I need to know a tentative time.
call agent : I don't know. May be one day or may be FIVE days.
me: Can I escalate this call to your supervisor?
call agent : No. Her answer will also the same.
me: Are you Qtel? How you can not give me a clear answer?
Call agent : We do not have any information. You go to any Q-tel offices and try to find out the information.
At this stage, I concluded my call beyond spoil my morning any further.
Please don't think that I am a vodafone spokeman. But I sincerely hope ICT will intervene and make Qatar a balanced market.
Sorry, Let me correct, I normally use handfree sets for calling.

calling while driving, that is a no no no in the civilized world!

You called while you were driving??? You are violating the traffic law and I have the right to call you a 'criminal'!
well you need to go directly to any of the service centers and verify that it has been converted.
