cricket spot fixing - Hidden facts behind
Hidden facts behind fake evidences of ‘News Of The World’!

Lords, London ? England: British police on Sunday bailed without charge a man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud bookmakers
Lords, London ? England: British police on Sunday bailed without charge a man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud bookmakers.
Several people are saying that these allegations are quite right & the players must be punished. The simple answer is these are accusations because they are not proved yet & will not because of the weak strength of the evidences.
Hidden facts behind these fake evidences (People saying these are real, here is the answer that these are fake):
1) Picture of Salman Butt with so called ?fixer? Majeed & so called ?reporter? of ?News of the World? :
Take a close look of this picture ==>
Salman Butt is in front, he should be stand in between of them.
You can see how much is the difference between the quality of Salman Butt pic, the so called ?fixer? pic & the reporter pic.
The width of the shadow of Salman?s neck is too big then it comes in real.
Have a look at the right side bottom of the picture, bottom of the so called ?fixer? Majeed, there is some thing with white border & with black inner surface, what is it, may be a chair or table or some thing. One thing proves here that the photographer is not professional. Then how he gets high quality picture of Salman Butt.
The left arm of the jacket/coat which Salman Butt is wearing is so straight, in real its not look like this. Check the yellow line on the left arm of the Salman Butt.
If you are still not believing, let?s believe it is true for a while, this picture can be take on some kind of party, the press ?reporter? is there, the so called ?fixer? is the agent of several ?Pakistani players?. Still it is not proving that any kind of fixing here.
2) 1st Video in which the so called ?Reporter? is giving money to so called ?Fixer?:
Watch the video carefully:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5mjHBFDamqc
No time is mentioned, it might be recorded after the overs or after the day.
When ever any kind of bookie takes such a big amount, he never counts it & he always receive cash in the form of briefcase.
What kind of hidden camera is this, which is just fixed in front of the so called ?fixer? & table? A CCTV, no because such a hidden camera can?t provide high quality result (colour view) with high quality voice.
3) 2nd Video in which the so called ?Reporter? is giving cash to the so called ?Fixer? in the car & after this ?Fixer? is giving his jacket to Wahab Riaz:
Watch this video carefully:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLILvZPfhdE
Again no date & time is mentioned.
So called ?Fixer? is seeing in the camera & talking.
Amazingly, so called ?Reporter? is giving cash to the so called ?Fixer? in the car where there is light & people are walking on the road near the car.
3 cameras are in the car according to the video & so called ?Fixer? even can?t point out a single camera & he is looking into it.
In the car the so called ?Fixer? is wearing ?Light Blue? shirt & when he is giving his jacket to Wahab Riaz, he is wearing ?Black? shirt.
Showing or Giving jacket is not proving anything, because the weather in England is cold & may be Wahab Riaz is feeling cold so Wahab just borrowed the jacket from him.
4) Why the ?News of the World? team didn?t went to Police on August 27, 2010:
Because the evidence were not ready.
Because they were waiting for some kind of poor performance so they can provide more strength to there fake evidences.
Some people are saying that because of their weekly edition they leaked the videos on August 28, 2010, well this is not the reason because if they would?ve visited the Scotland Yard on August 27, 2010 with their evidences then there was a chance that Scotland Yard would?ve kept the videos secret until August 28, 2010.
5) So Called ?Fixer? Mazhar Majeed released on bail:
Scotland Yard on Sunday bailed without charge a man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud bookmakers.
?A 35 year-old man has been bailed until a date in the future?, a Scotland Yard spokesman said.
6) Salman Butt refuses to resign after false allegations:
The captain of Pakistan Test Cricket Team insisted he would not be resigning after being implicated in an alleged betting scam.
The matter is almost over, the criticisers must now stop criticising. The English media completely failed in their ridiculous mission.
Bunnyhug
mind U rest of the teams were playing "Laddoo" who finished their journey even before semi finals?
The two best teams in the World are in the final - no cheating.
Pakistan did not get there, because ............ all eyes are on them, and cheating was very difficult.
Lets hope Pakistan learn a lesson, glory is earned, not bought.
bunnyhug he will never showup on this thread. May be you will see him with something new when the team wins some matches ;)
mz.000 said evedences are not enough, i ...
"evedences are not enough, i dont think they will be proved guilty"
Sorry mz.000 - you are Soooo wrong:-)
Guilty - Guilty and, yup Guilty LOL
kick them out for life - but i think cricket has lost all of its reputation now.
what a surprise, more match fixing claims today from the recent 3rd one dayer.
ban them altogether.
Those were Pakistanis what do you expect?
Police say fixing evidence given to prosecutors
ESPNcricinfo staff
September 17, 2010
Scotland Yard has said it has passed on to prosecutors an initial file of evidence on claims that Pakistan cricketers were involved in spot-fixing.
It said evidence that there was a conspiracy to defraud bookmakers will be considered by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).
"The Metropolitan Police Service has today delivered an initial file of evidence relating to conspiracy to defraud bookmakers to the Crown Prosecution Service," a Scotland Yard spokesman said. "The file will now be subject to CPS consideration. This is an initial file and the Met investigation continues."
PAKISTAN's Mohammad Asif is so worried about being the target of criminal gangs at home that he is reportedly considering asking for asylum in the UK.
The bowler, one of three players facing charges from the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption unit and a police investigation over alleged spot-fixing in the Lord's Test, is said to have met lawyers to discuss how he could stay in England.
Asif's fears about returning home emerged at the same time as Pakistan cricket board chief Ijaz Butt was greeted by a baying mob who booed and shouted "shame, shame" after his plane landed at Lahore airport. Local cricket fans are devastated by allegations about corruption in the team and many blame the administrators for the failings.
London's The Daily Telegraph said an agitated Asif had approached a solicitor from the firm Malik and Malik last week
The incident which was largely inaccurately reported in the News of the World today was when I was having dinner with a friend at the Holiday Inn Nottingham on the evening of Monday 30th August 2010. I was then approached by a man who introduced himself as Abid Khan and offered that he would arrange a sponsorship deal for me with ETIHAD Airways. I have now seen a photograph of the so called Abid Khan and have discovered that he is Mazhar Mahmood.
Naturally I was interested in what he had to say ......
I received a text message from Abid Khan from his number 0** **** ***6, which I found to be intimidating as reflected in his message reproduced below:
"Pls call me. Incidentally you are in video drinking wine and saying all the quotes attributed to you. Denying it is just stupid as we will be releasing the video to tv. Better that you stand up and speak the truth!!!!."
indians bookies are behind most of the cricket world match fixings. just see all the cases happened and even the new reports by australians and sri-lankans. indian bookies reached them also for match fixing. these bookies required some real strict legal actions too.
1. Hansie Cronje's Plane crash "partly due to unusable navigational equipment."
2. Bob Woolmer, the Pakistan coach, who died in Kingston hospital after being found unconscious in his hotel room hours after his side's elimination from the World Cup.
This betting thing exists in a lot of countries...and the money involved is too big...
Unfortunately Pakistan and it's people are being given a bad name by this bunch of cheating greedy scum of a cricket team!!!
It does not mean all pakistanis are this way inclined, they are just tarred with the same brush.
Thank you very much Pakistan cricket players, you have given a bad name to your country, your people and to the name of cricket!!!!
Even the fair playing Pakistani cricket fans hate you for this.
No need for the racism, they are cheats yes and Pakistan should be banned from international cricket but show the rest of the country some respect.
They are Paki, whatelse do you expect?
An explosive claim by a member of the Pakistan touring team that some of his team-mates ARE cheats. Opening batsman Yasir Hameed tells us bent teammates were fixing “almost every match”. He said: “They’ve been caught. Only the ones that get caught are branded crooks.
“They were doing it (fixing) in almost every match. God knows what they were up to. Scotland Yard was after them for ages.
“It makes me angry because I’m playing my best and they are trying to lose.”
How the ICC are now probing a FOURTH Pakistan touring player over match-rigging claims. The Current Affairs.com is not naming this player for legal reasons.
The three suspended Pakistan players face a staggering TWENTY THREE ICC charges between them – each charge runs to six pages.
Exposing the rantings of the Pakistan High Commissioner who outrageously claimed that The Current Affairs.com had “set up” Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif. CCTV evidence proves the meeting with fixer Mazhar Majeed took place before any “no balls” had been bowled. Dated receipts and emails also prove the money handover happened BEFORE the “no balls”.
Pakistan Captain Salman Butt was warned FIVE TIMES about his responsibilities to report any irregular contact with outside agencies. And investigators have recovered between £10,000 and £15,000 of marked News of the World bills from the Pakistan captain’s hotel room.
ICC are investigating an unnamed fourth Pakistan player, while Yasir Hameed has told the newspaper that he was asked by a bookmaker to help fix a Test for £100,000 but turned down the money.
Hameed, who played in two of the recent Tests against England, allegedly told the newspaper “almost every match” has been fixed and has slammed his team-mates’ actions. “They’ve been caught. Only the ones that get caught are branded crooks,” he told the newspaper. “They were doing it [fixing] in almost every match.
“God knows what they were up to. Scotland Yard was after them for ages. It makes me angry because I’m playing my best and they are trying to lose.”
“They are not aware of anything like this happening,” Yawar Saeed, Pakistan’s manager, told Cricinfo. He also added that since the end of the Test series, Hameed had left the Pakistan squad, and he did not know of his whereabouts.
Also revealed in an eight-page special produced by the newspaper, they outline the charge sheets against Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir who have been questioned by police twice this week since the initial story broke last weekend with the trio facing 23 charges between them.
And in relation to the Pakistan High Commissioner’s belief that the players were “set up” the News of the World will publish emails, receipts and CCTV evidence that prove the meetings between the undercover reporter and Mazhar Majeed were filmed before the Lord’s Test.

September 3, 2010
The three Pakistan players at the centre of the spot-fixing controversy were questioned by police in London until late Friday evening, though no charges were laid against them.
"At no time were they placed under arrest, they were free to leave at any time and they have answered all of the questions that were put to them and have been released without charge or conditions," their local lawyer Elizabeth Robertson said.
A Nationalistic few Pakistani persons seem to be more disturbed at the fact a few globe trotting over rated 'ball fondlers' are caught red handed cheating, than they are of the suffering of their own country folk.
About time to get your priorities right.
Now, if some of the ill gotten gains were destined for the flood victims, maybe some sympathy could be gained in this whole sorry mess. But ......... somehow I don't think so!!! It was greed, destined for their own pockets.
mz.000, you should be assisting the pakistan flood victims rather than focusing on these drop kicks that call themselves cricketers.
Fakistani team does not deserve to play international cricket anymore. There should be atleast 5years ban for playing international cricket. They should accept that they are cheats & leave forever. I don't know why Fakistani team is so shameless
Greetings from Poland :P
Pakistani integrity was up for sale!!!
However, I agree with Bucky, the information was for sale, the cricket cheats were going to cheat anyway!!!!
They were not lured. The newspaper only paid for information on what was already going to happen, they did not request for the match to be fixed.
I think luring cricketrs into fixing is not a good method of investigation. Especially when they are from a country like pakistan...
Pakistani high Commissioner Wajid Hasan's statement yesterday after meeting with ICC CEO Chief Executive is now contradicted by the ICC CEO Chief Executive. "......... it's unfortunate that the High Commissioner interpreted things differently".
Credible Pakistan Cricket ...... RIP.
I bet the pakistanis even breathe during kabbadi....
I think luring cricketrs into fixing is not a good method of investigation. Especially when they are from a country like pakistan...
It's looking really bad for them now, all three arrested and then the stupid pakistan ambassador to the UK comes out and says the allegations are not true! Being a senior representative of his country he should know to keep his mouth shut until the investigation is complete. If they are found guilty he will look very stupid indeed, but then again maybe he was taking a kick back as well
Chor sale sab, they should be deported from England right away not to any prison coz their country is a prison itself
as if there was ever any doubt.
Investigation is in good hands of scotland yard. They have now found that the 50000 pound notes found in butts room are the same that were marked & given to fixer.
what if they will not be proven guilty, would the host compensate their time & innocency...!
evedences are not enough, i dont think they will be proved guilty
Those cheaters deserves worse than this. Put them to prison
Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, the three Pakistan players who are at the centre of the spot-fixing controversy have been dropped for the limited-overs leg of the England tour, according to team manager Yawar Saeed. He said they had not, however, been suspended.
The three players are currently in London, where they are due to meet Pakistan's high commissioner to the UK. The PCB chairman, Ijaz Butt, is expected to be at that meeting.
Speaking in Taunton, where the Pakistan team are to play a warm-up match later on Thursday, Saeed said he had taken the decision, and also called for three replacements "The T20 squad will remain what it is here this morning, i.e. 13 people," Saeed said. "When we play the one-day internationals we will be asking for replacements to make the squad up to 16.".
But this is an open forum, and my opinion counts, otherwise the thread would have been closed by now (we all know the mods on here!!)
Maybe you would prefer that you were the only poster .......... up on your pedestal and spouting 'the truth' without response. How boring is that. Might as well shut down QL all together!!!
Seth 9900........ I don't hate anybody here, I don't even know them. It's, an open forum, I, and others, are only responding to the rantings of a few disillusioned few, not the person.
Others are throwing around name calling like 'jackass' etc. Have a go at them ......... that's if your impartial.
seth, you have to start looking at QL in a different way. Otherwise you will give up on mankind...fast.
Before anyone else comes on here and spreads some more hate about something they dont know about. Just answer a simple question
How do we know the video was not made afterwards?
Come up with a clear, logical answer, not some vague, hate-driven garbage.
It was turning sad towards the end there. At least Saler is is posting links and presenting facts. The others are not even responding to anything. They are just spewing their hate on the guy.
seth...that is exactly what QL is all about...hugely entertaining.;)
As an outsider, I must say that the sheer ignorance most people here are showing is mind blowing. Jumping on conclusions, getting defensive for no reason and the sheer lack of any common sense or ability to handle an argument is just mind numbingly sad.
You people really need to find some new hobbies other than hating those doing more with their lives.
Well they let him go didnt they? What does that say about the so called 'evidence' theyre basing their whole case on.
As far as the 'illegal drugs' go.
http://www.smh.com.au/news/cricket/not-opium-but-medicine-says-spokesman-for-asif/2008/06/03/1212258825943.html
The UAE doesnt just let someone with opuim go free, They have some of the harshest punishments in the world for drug trafficking but they let Asif go. Why? because there were no drugs.
and I know its hard for you but try to act like an adult. Youre embarrassing yourself.
OK let's say the video was made afterwards. Then why would majed a players agent be involved in such a thing? He would lose his job and access to cricket circles.
Saler575 says "bak bak, bak bak, bak bak"
Shut up already Paki. Your arguments sucks just like your cricket team. Now let me come to your low level & explain.
The example you gave about having a plane in the pool cannot be compared to having a video proof. If i have a video of a plane in my pool, its a proof enough to claim that i have it. This thread should be locked coz you think and post after every 3mins. Your brain is having hick ups or something?
Recently M. Asif was caught at the airport having illegal drugs, what do you have to say about that? somebody planted it? If you cricket team is so unaware of whats going on with them, maybe they should still travel with their parents. Don't support those cheaters
And if you people are so driven to see a crime punished.
How about the one where a search was conducted without a warrant.
But I guess its okay cause it was against Pakistanis and they are guilty until proven innocent.
And here I thought stereotyping is bad.
So basically youre with your team when theyre winning and against them when they lose. Nice. They call it fair weather friend where Im from.
And now youre claiming the guy investigating this whole thing is wrong about the evidence statement and youre right.
Like I said, ramblings is all youre good at. Come back when you develop the ability to understand basic statements instead of acting like a child and repeating yourself.
Pakistan should be banned from cricket for five years until they sort this mess out. It'll be no loss as no one wants to tour there since the Pakistani terrorists attacked the Sri lankans.(unless that was a conspiracy too)
are also crap if that is how they played in there last game. So is the England football team, if they played crap in there last game. So am I when I have a bad day at my sport.
However, the difference is ............ everybody else can accept this.
But not the Pakistanis, they cannot accept when they are really really bad!!!! So full of themselves it must be a conspiracy ........ Photoshop!! Media!! setup!!! and to top the lot .......... "the Chairman of the commission said so".
Sorry, I apologies, a lot of true sport loving Pakistani's can accept it, as we see on the news, they are so embarrassed.
I think it is just a nationalistic few having a problem with the concept that their team are corrupt.
Give it a rest and accept the inevitable.
All I hear is random ramblings, name calling and just a general level of incompetence when it comes to arguying like an adult.
Come back when you guys have something of worth to add to the discussion.
Youve experienced too much television and too little reality. Only as good as your last game? so what does that make india when they were crushed by the Lankas recently?
gambling is considered haram, therefore it never happened.
So when you dont have any evidence or logical arguments, youll judge based on 'facts over the years'?
Do you realize how stupid you sound right now?
mad of the way they absolutely flopped against England LOL.............. more recently.
Remember, your only as good as your last game.
Game over.
Aww maybe Youre just mad we beat Australia at t20 and tied the test series this year. And all by a team of kids.
the pakistani definition of LBW is Lost, Beaten, Whores.
The facts over the years speak for them selves.
Give up mate, your on to a loser.
The investigation is on going, and you already know about this more than him? Why because zee news said so?
I agree with Roy dig.............. surely there is more than one Butt in the Pakistani team !!!
Chairman of the commission says so, so there!!!
Saler, keep it up :) I am also waiting for a proper answer after the investigation is completed. But still I believe some players are involved a lil bit (forced/unforced).
flanostu, if you cant comment properly then better stay away from the topic. Don't hijack it with your loose comments :)
I predict more name-calling and repetition in return for a logical argument lol.
Are you guys seriously gonna resort to name calling? Is that all youve got in the face of a real argument?
I would honestly laugh if it wasnt so utterly pathetic.
Well its apparent you dont understand the concept of reasoning. Let me school you a bit.
See, if you say something, it is false until you can prove it. If you say that you have an aircraft carrier parked in your swimming pool, it will be false until you can prove it.
This concept applies to the video in question, notw ALLEGES the video is true, but they havent done anything to prove it. So as far as any adult with a functional brain is concerned, they are nothing more than TALK without any proof.
Now read carefully cause Im only gonna say this once.
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSION TO INVESTIGATE SUCH MATTERS SAID THAT THERE IS --NO EVIDENCE--
Got it?
Now go ramble about the economy or the future in some other thread. Stay on topic while youre here.
your captain's surname is butt, that says it all.
Very nice come back Saler, i don't have words anymore. lol
Its understandable, truth hurts. Specially in your case
Listen to Qattartatta (well said) for the truth is spoken.
The comment about India is spot on (Oooops, now I am guilty of being Nationalistic LOL).
Calm down Saler575, getting a bit worked up, it's not your fault. Just something you have to live with:-)
How do you expect me to take you seriously when you cant even spell 'tamper' correctly? And name calling, seriously? How old are you again?
Now try that again like an adult.
@Saler575 pound for pound....hahaha i m sure you heard that from UFC. If fakistani team was even something then you would not need to ball temper & do match fixing. Your cricket team is sloppy, undisciplined and a total cheat. If you need a good review about your country then goto my post. 'Great review by a true Pakistani' and watch that video it might give some senses in your narrow mind. And please stop comparing yourself to India. India is future china when it comes to economy & you guys are future russia, on the brink of its division
Yep, youre slow indeed. Very slow. I think you might be retarded or just very good at acting that way. And apparently you know more than the chairman of the commission himself because the "TEE VEE SED SO"
And the lack of a warrant is not a loophole you cretin, its a crime. Anyone who can commit the serious crime of violating privacy rules and searching without a warrant can sure as hell plant the money there.
So next time, try to actually read and --UNDERSTAND-- for once instead of just regurgitating the same thing over and over. I know it might be hard for you the first couple of times but youll get it...eventually.
Reputation has a big say (and I smell a rat) dare we recall the 70's ............ or even the 90's!!!
Guilt is proven, even if they are seeking loop holes to escape the crime (no warrant etc.) To predict 3 no balls, and then the play turns out exactly as predicted. Oh, don't rant on again about photo shop etc. Same old record World over in these cases.
Slam Dunk!!!
lol are you kidding me? Im not even a law student and I just rebuked all of the said 'evidence'. Hell Parry, the chairman of the commission to investigate these things said that there is NO EVIDENCE in this case and youre still repeating yourself. Are you slow?
And you really need to work on your reading comprehension and go read the last part of my post again.
And remember kid, its innocent until proven guilty. Not the other way around like your little media spins it.
But worthless when they cheat. Integrity as a player is straight out the window. Even their own people back home hate them.
And it does not matter how many 'superstars' you reckon you have coming through, if they all cheat, accept back hander's and ruin the game of cricket, then they are all just worthless!!!
The proof so far that they are guilty sure as hell out weighs the proof of their innocence!!!
Unless you have some facts to show us, best you back up.
Oh, and I am not frightened of Pakistani lawyers, I have a few dollars to pay them off with LOL.
Youre pretty slow for a lecturer. Looking at just one single match and forming an opinion of a team is called ignorance.
Also you dont seem to be applying the same logic to the third test when england lost to a bunch of teenagers from the Pakistani side. Youre just hating a bunch of kids who have more talent than you ever will. Thats what makes you a jackass.
Fact of the matter is, pound for pound, pakistan has the greatest fast bowlers in the world today in Asif, Aamir and Akhtar. Hell India, a nation of 1.3 billion couldnt produce in decades what Pakistan does every month. The resources that england put towards the facilities and training dwarfs what Pakistan does and all they have to show for it are generic mid-card fast bowlers.
Pakistan on the other hand has so many top of the line bowlers, they have a hard time giving everyone an opportunity to play and develop at the international level.
But there is an initiative under way in the Pakistani cricket circles and Mohammad Aamir, the 18 year old kid who the top english and australian batsmen found unplayable, is just the beginning of whats coming. Theres atleast five more fast bowlers that will make their way to the first team in the next two years, one of whom who has already bowled at over 100mph...and he is just 17.
http://www.cricinfo.com/england-v-pakistan-2010/content/current/story/475246.html
"I don't think [the case] has any evidence at all," said Parry.
Last week I posted a picture of a woman giving the finger to the iranian dictator and everyone yelled photoshop. They didnt do the same when the laughably doctored photo of Salman showed up.
Now heres the little evidence the clowns at notw gathered
The video- Can be recorded at anytime after the match. The burden of proof is on the source to prove that the video was indeed before the match. They didnt have to go public, they couldve gone to the proper authorities with it and they wouldve known how to deal with it.
The photo- Again, burden of proof is on the source to prove the photo is not doctored. Might be difficult considering anyone in the world with a computer, a working internet connection and half a brain cell can make such a photo.
The 50k in the room- Searching without a warrant is a serious crime. If someone can commit the crime of searching without a warrant or proper authority, they can most definitely plant the said 50,000.
Like I said, the evidence is laughable at best. Anyone with even a remote interesting of law will understand that they have no case and are doing all of this just for publicity and sales.
Bottom line, if youve got something to say, you better back it up or you can be sure that the Pakistani lawyers will take your ass to court and sue you for everything youve got for libel and slander.
Obviously your grasp of English is found wanting.
I referred to the Pakistan team's level of talent 'last week', not in general, so read again.
As for your answer, proof that you are arguing for arguments sake.
Stick with the facts. Don't let Nationalism get in the way.
Imran Yusuf - a writer based in Karachi
Our country's government and society might be beyond our control, but we can take charge of the cricket board. Storm the PCB! Heads must roll and butts be kicked, they say. We no longer have the luxury to be a tolerated laughing stock. We no longer have the luxury to sit on our butts. Indeed, we no longer have the luxury to make Butt jokes - that's how serious this is, they say. It's life or death for Pakistan cricket. It's now or never.
The idea is that one's confidence in the truth of cricket has been shattered, and every fan has been left utterly confused. If only we were using the UDRS: now that would clear everything up, wouldn't it, for this is a simple game, is it not? If you're out, you're out, and if you're in, you're in, and if you cross the line... it's time for a change.
On any given day, Indian Z Cricket team can hand over fakistan's cricket teams ass to them. First you guys cheat & lie. Do ball tempering. Get caught in drug cases and then come back to ground to play again like nothing ever happened. This is height of shameless act.
mate no team is scared of your team, you are hardly world beaters at the moment, least NZ are not dirty cheats...we have never lost to Ireland and the Deshi's...yeah your a really top team!!!
i doubt even in this worse scenario of their scandals, if NZ will dare to face them in cricket ground ;O)
they haven't been found guilty YET Dot Com because the investigation is still on going...Paki cricket now has zero intergrity which is a shame for the game of cricket given the talent pool...what sponsor in their right mind would now want to be associated with the Paki team...
and why all the fuss about Pakistani cricketers, still they are not found guilty, can't u wait across the border and better to concentrate on IPL flash news?
Does it make it bigger crime, if it comes under a camera?
chill out Cryspy....not your fault your team is a bunch of dirty scumbag cheats...might be about time for the Paki supporters to follow another sport...
What is the point in having so much talent when there is no integrity?
Get rid of all the cheaters no matter how good they are.
nice to see you a bunch of f-cking indians, who are always ready to jump over c-cks when you L--sers have a spice news on your f-cking masala news channels.
_____________________________________________________
You sala indians neech ki aulaad, gutter k pujaari, brahman k tattein dhone walon, Get life u arse holes.
hahaha oh thats priceless Bucky Gunts...well said
Pakistan cricketers don't cheat it's the English conspiracy, pakistan has no terrorists it's a conspriracy, Pakistan is not a very corrupt society it's the Indians that do this, Pakistan has no tailban it's the American CIA...... Blah, blah
it's always someone elses fault
Customs investigators have made three more arrests in connection with the Pakistan spot-fixing investigation, Cricinfo has confirmed.
"Two men and a woman, all from London, were questioned yesterday as part of an investigation into money laundering before being released on bail," HM Revenue and Customs said in a statement.
The arrests are understood to be part of a line of enquiry that is separate to the Lord's spot-fixing scandal. Customs confirmed that "two 35-year-olds (a male and a female) from the Croydon area and a 49-year-old male from the Wembley area" had been arrested, adding: "These individuals were arrested, questioned and have been bailed pending further investigations."
The developments come as it was revealed that Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif, the three Pakistan players whose mobile phones were confiscated in the wake of the News of the World revelations, would be returning to London for talks with the PCB chairman, Ijaz Butt.
Saler575 no one is questioning the talent of the team, just the actions (or what they are accused)...face it mate they are bunch of dirty cheaters who deserve life bans if found guilty..
Every single team has bad matches. Now if youre gonna argue that the Pakistani team is not talented, then either youre being ignorant or youre just a jackass.
Not much talent last week.
How far back in history do you want to go.
I remember once at the turn of the century blah blah blah .........
I still remember in the 78 test match when Australia were 305/3 and needed 77 to win when Sarfaraz Nawaz took seven wickets for one run due to his ability to reverse swing the ball at great pace and knocked out Australia for 310 all out. They were accused of ball tampering then as well.
Anyone with working brain cells can see whats happening here. The young Pakistani players' morale is being targeted by certain powers who know they cant match them for talent in the field.
The so called 'evidence' is weak at best, the video could be made at anytime after the match, the pictures are so easy to photoshop, a kid in his mothers basement can come up with one the FBI would have a hard time recognizing.
Pakistanis need to defend these young men right now. Not turn against them. They need to understand the sheer amount of talent they have been blessed with and protect them. They need to realize that England, even with their immense resources, can only dream of one day having a bowler of Asif, Aamir or Akhtar's caliber that are basically the product of the streets of Pakistan.
yes Shapil, definately. You know, at first I was annoyed at the way the guys responded to the cameras, little smirks here and there........but then, I realised, these guys are babies, as young as 18, they are so so so vulnerable, I don't think they realise the reality of what is happening around them.
I agree with Raven, who will be scared of a team that lost to ireland & bangladesh. hahahaha
Yes diane it definitely runs deeper and higher than what meets the eye...players may just be a cog in the betting wheel.
rEzyz no one is scared of Pakistan, you just a bunch of dirty fecken cheats....
there was a tv report with Mark Nicholas (spell check), he is one of the best cricket pundits around, he said, look at the bigger picture...........these bets are worth millions and millions of pounds, these guys may have had pressure from outsiders with power (not exact words but that was how I perceived what he was saying).
i liked sohail tanveer also...wonder what happened to him..made enough to retire already ;)
so you admit wasim n imran were good bowlers... :)
lil boy, take a chill pill....
Yes because then you guys will do ball tempering, booking, matchfixing. Plus the only good fast bowler you ever has was Wasim Akram & Imran Khan. But your stupid doctors killed his wife...
why we should be banned? are you scare of us... can't face our fast bowlers...watch it (just 4 u)
&feature=related
They should be banned from playing in the world cup. They were not gonna win it anyways...Cheats
fact: pakistan are crap at cricket
they don't deserve to learn from their mistakes, this is not a minor misdeanor here, this issue hits at the in tegrity of the game, those found guilty should get life bans nothing less....this issue has bought Paki cricket to its knees...
they will no doubt learn from their mistakes... things will never be the same again hope so... :)
Akmal should anyway be banned for life.. It will be beneficial for Pakistani cricket.. Now is a good excuse to get rid of his wicketkeeping
pakistani players so far denying their involvment in match-fixing, & akmal held free of allegation, participating in t20 vs England...
We want a clean game and these cheats must be kicked out of the game. Hansie got a life ban so should the pakistanis that are involved. How can you bet on cricket when enjoying a beer in Islamabad when you know the game is fixed?
A smart arse lawyer can get them off but Asif should be stopped from playing again. He has got too many issues.
Mr. Qatar...CHUP matchfixers
at ashraf_noor you are seriolsy deluded if you think these players are anything other than dirty low life cheats, souring the name of cricket...thats right just blames others and pretend its not Pakistans fault, oh the other teams are just scared of us...balh blah blah...
bury your head in the sand and hope it goes away.
I think it will get bigger!!!!
Lets see what happens over the next few days.
it will come up same like last tour ,, that despite having 22 camera in ground they could not show any clip of ball tempering ,,how they can show money in rooms and deals with majeed
then how Scotland yard is so mercy full to mr majeed
Blind faith is what will get you through this Ashraf. Just pretend it isn't happening.
majeed is playing an agent to English media now,, they had to create some thing to demoralize Pakistanis other wise results were gona different ,, that's why all these fake allegation has been created.
all these recording are after the live match ,, and how he is sitting and collection money so fast from ppl and putting on table in front of him .is it 2010 London bookie office?
and finally got bail with out any charge ,, its simplest story.
No wonder pakistan is in such a mess with a terrible reputation, they cannot admit their own failings even when the evidence is staring them in the face.
Try to accept your own problems rather than trying to blame them on someone else.
at mnaveed, so the whole thing is an English Media beef up because teams will be scared of the bowlers....get real mate....they might not be proven guilty yet, but it will come, how do you explain the no balls....they are nothing but dirty cheaters who deserve a life ban (if proven guilty)
What evidence you have that this video is made before the match?? Will you explain this please..??
& about the £50,000 which police claimed that they recoverd from players room then why they didnt show it to media on the spot.. I think they are not fools (like qatartatta) to keep such a huge amount with themselves in their rooms..
That is why they did not play very well on the last day, just had 50,000 discovered in their room, probably thinking on their mind 'how to explain this one'!!!
However, if the police did not have a warrant, like Mr_Qatar claims, then maybe the 50,000 is not allowed as evidence and therefore players are innocent as you claim:-)
our guy seems to be smarter than scotland yard. BTW all three are barred from practicing now & 50,000 pound was recovered from their room.
I would love to hear what this guy has to say his countrymen about this controversy...
OK if this is a conspriacy by the English can someone please explain how he can correctly identify 3 no balls in 3 seperate overs and tell you the people that will bowl them?
Is he the luckiest man in the world or does he practised black magic?
Pakistan look in real trouble on this one. They've been caught again cheating and I was just thinking Kamran Akmal was a useless player.
Listen all u guys before all of u saying pak is cheat or india is cheat both of this country are messed up allright so no need to point fingers at eachother we are all on the same track so please
Bunnyhug the performance of pakistani team in last match specially last day was no doubt very poor,, but its obvious if the media of the whole world speaks against you & police search your room without any warrant then what will be your mental situation in the morning.. According to board officials players are unable to do warm up even for a single hour before match coz of stress & pressure..
Dirty cheating **** scum, kick em all out of the sport
But here i realize you that some stupid & foolish people will never understand such things..(like qatartatta,, alliswell .....) and they will always try to shit in each thread post by QL members... Such a nonsense peoples..
Did you not see the last game? It was embarrassing for those poor kids out there. They were thrashed in the series 3-1!!! I don't think the Cricket World has much to worry about here.
Your right about one thing, Pakistan failed to perform, that was obvious.
Also, what has the media got to gain?
Oh, and typing in caps is rude.
THIS IS ANOTHER DRAMA WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY ENGLISH MEDIA. THEY HAVE SEEN CAPABILITIES OF AMIR, WAHAB, ASIF AND AJMAL> HOW THEY CAN BE A QUITE VIEWER> SO THEY DECIDED TO DO SOME THNG TO KEEP THEM AWAY FROM CRICKET OR EFFECT THEIR PERFORMANCE> WE ALL KNOW THAT PAKISTAN HAS FAILED TO PERFORM IN BATTING LINE UP IF THEY DO THEIR WELL THEY WILL BEAT AUSTRALIA AND ENGLAND COMPLETLY> SO THESE YOUNG BOYS ARE THE THREAT TO ENGLISH AND OTHER TEAMS IN COMING DAYS SO MEDIA HAS PLAYED NAD DIRECTED THIS BIDG SHOW>
agreed to a few points... what about the precise timing of 3 no balls the bowlers claimed and mazher claimed he had got it done ???
The evidence is too strong.
Of course NoTW they are not going to publicise the video etc. before it is proven, if it was ever leaked, The cheats would obviously not go through with it Duh!!!
There will be more evidence not yet publicised but available to the authorities.
Nice work done dear.
I also do not want Life time ban on aamir
Now only one question left unanswered.
NO Balls conspriacy...?
I don't believe these allegations are true, I am not Paki. but still i have doubt that they want to keep away Ammir from the cricket. All Big batsman including Sachin, Pointing have said hard to paly against Aamir.
Enough of these defending BS, go to england and become their lawyer or something. Are you people blind and deaf or what?
As you say, they are still allegations till proven, but the evidence does seem quite strong.
I doubt whether NoTW would go public without hard and damning evidence..
