Tea....Tata Tea..World's biggest tea Company, Kananan Devan Tea (which is also a Tata Brand), Lipton, Brooke Bond.

i prefer to have fresh roasted. before I came to doha i roasted green coffee beans myself in a popcorn maker.  can't find a popcorn maker here that roasts slow enough - get's hot very quickly, i'm guessing that popcorn would burn it's so fast.  until then,

 

the Coffee Center on Najima Road roasts their own, it's the best coffee i've found here, beats starbucks etc.  56 QR per kilo.  most of the stuff in the stores is just dreck, paint thinner would have better flavour.

 

now if only i could find real coffee cream, not just whipping cream.

Lady Grey Tea although difficult to find is very nice citrusy tea its not as strong at Earl Grey, usually its distributed by Twinings
