Coffee Etiquette in Qatar and Around the World
In Qatar and abroad, coffee drinking is a culture in itself, with its own special rules. The earliest evidence of coffee as a beverage can be found from the 15th Century at Sufi shrines in Yemen. Since then, it has assimilated into the very fabric of cultures around the world. In Italy, drinking a cappuccino for any other meal but breakfast is considered a taboo, and in Bosnia, taking a bite of sugar and letting it dissolve on your tongue while sipping is customary.
