The end is nigh.. The signs are getting clearer.. Netanyahu becoming Prime Minister, Tottenham top of the league, Khan pursuing his love interest on Ql and now the clearest sign of all....

Giancarlo Fisichella of Force India has taken pole position for tomorrow's Belgian Grand Prix :O(

India doesn't have a World Cup football team. When they get a corner they build a shop on it.

Now I know how Modric got injured. Croatia Football Federation president Vlatko Markovic has suggested there is a conspiracy against his country after Luka Modric was injured on Saturday and will miss their forthcoming World Cup qualifier against England next Wednesday.

I really truly wanted Force India to take this one. Not for Fisi, he has had his big days at Renault and Benetton, but the damnation of the day has to be Luca Badoer dead last. I think his ominous record will remain unbroken. At least the BBC commentators had a field day. Poor Luca. Let's hope they bring back Mika Salo at least, I don't find Marc Gene entertaining in any way...

As for Modric, couldn't be happier. He was after all at Dinamo Zagreb and on loan to Zrinjski Mostar, and I can't really say who I despise more, the two aforementioned or the tu..sorry I mean the spurs.

Not sure I understand your deductive method kazi, why do you say the Gunners can't win (not that I think they will)?

Don't think Liverpool can do it, at some point Rafa will spontaneously combust :)

Or mayb brit the timekeeper was supplied with lots of Kingfisher and he reduced 1/10th of a second for every bottle he had. Great for the team though and good to see all the money I spent on Kingfisher has been put to good use.

Actually Milan have a weak team at present and a new manager, but yes it was a great result for Inter.

Getting back to Force India, I have a theory..

All the timing systems are computer controlled. India has loads and loads of IT experts. So, perhaps, the systems were "compromised"..

I have already written to Interpol.

By anonymous• 30 Aug 2009 09:58

By the way Britexpat talking about shocking results in sports, did you see the Milan derby last night, Milan hammered 4-0 by Inter in a home game for Milan and they could have scored even more. Watch out for Inter in Europe this year.

Yes there are but remember last season 1 win after 10 games for spurs, season before that 1 win after 12 games, so you can see where the optimism is coming from.

Was Giancarlo Fisichella the only guy out there racing?

Or maybe the results were displayed upside down.....cause these 2 Force India guys were always at the bottom of the table....

It must be some Conspiracy Theory......lol

Said before the season started, Spurs will break into the top 4 this season. Modric stays fit for most of the season then nobody can stop them..

for Jenson to win the championship. If nothing to pee on old Jezza's party. I've been a Ferrarista all my life but if they hire that dog Alonso, I give up. Of all the drivers in the world they have to pick the most arrogant snob.

Ridiculous. Tottenham Jewspur top of the premiership, and Fisichella and Force India on pole. Well I've always been for the underdogs (not in case of Shittenham, they can rot), so I wish Fisichella & Force India all the best tomorrow. This season has been a rollercoaster in the positive sense, despite Mosley and Ecclestone's transgressions...
