Citizens vent ire over workers

Alarmed by what the Qatari community says is single workers’ menace in residential areas, the Central Municipal Council (CMC) has urged the private sector to make their employees aware of and respect local customs and traditions.

But why so selective? just my opinion.

Arien- I believe those are more akin to slaves than laborers. And as we all know, slaves are beneath care.

One issue the CMC has to tackle is the "number" of people forced to share an accomodation. The CMC should ensure that the accomodations are clean, viable and comfortable.

yeah we all hope so that Barwa builds that Labourer City on time so this somewhat over reaction of the locals won't get worse.

Barwa is supposed to be building a "Labourer City".. So, hopefully, once its completed, much of this issue will be resolved.
