Christmas Decorations

Wow! It's October, and none of the shops have Christmas decorations up yet. However I have seen a few villas with their fairy lights up ready. And I have noticed a few trucks with some tinsel wrapped around the inside of their cabs which is nice.

A real Xmas Tree, how on earth did you manage to stop all the needles falling out in this heat?

Good for you, timebandit, it's never too early to get into the Christmas spirit. And on the way it's fun to mark Michaelmas, Halloween/All Saints, Christ the King and the wonderfully anticipatory season of Advent. If you get just simply desperate, remember that the churches will be decorated and filled with the music of the season.

here`s another christmas song by Mr. Jose Marie Chan

My ideal of a perfect Christmas

Is to spend it with you

In a party

Or dinner for two

Anywhere would do

Celebrating the yuletide season

Always lights up our lives

Simple pleasures are made special too

When their shared with you

II:

Looking through some old photographs

Faces of friends we'll always remember

Watching busy shoppers rushing about

In the cool breeze of December

Sparkling lights, all over town

Children's carols in the air

By the Christmas tree

A shower of stardust on your hair

I cant think of a better Christmas

Than my wish coming true

And my wish is you'd let me spend my whole life with you

repeat II

My ideal of a perfect Christmas is to spend it with you

Christmas In Our Heart lyrics

Artist - Jose Mari Chan

Album - Various Songs

Lyrics - Christmas In Our Heart

Whenever I see girls and boys

Selling lanterns in the streets

I remember the Child

In the manger as He sleeps

Whenever there are people

Giving gifts exchanging cards

I believe that Christmas

Is truly in their hearts

Let's light our christmas trees

For a bright tomorrow

Where nations are at peace

And all are one in God.

CHORUS:

Let's sing 'Merry Christmas

And a happy holiday'

This season, may we never forget

The love we have for Jesus

Let Him be the One to guide us

As another new year stars

And may the spirit of christmas

Be always in our hearts

In every prayer and every song

The community unites

Celebrating the birth

Of our Saviour Jesus Christ

Let love, like that starlight

On that first Christmas morn

Lead us back to the manger

Where Christ the Child was born

So come let us rejoice

Come and sing the Christmas carol

With one big joyful voice

Proclaim the name of the Lord.

lol Merry Christmas time bandit, you sounds very excited. In the past Santa always manage to drop by in Singing Dune and all the families with kids visiting him in his 'special tent'. And after that continue with singing christmas choir in front of the bonfire.

Hopefully Santa coming again this year ... same place and same routine.

i thank you then for respecting as well the Christmas Holiday... for being with the us during the time...

Christmas will always be in hearts...

In Philippines - i will be requesting from my family to observe and celebrate the season in the most and simplest way because... it hurts to see some of my "kabayans" who were badly affected by typhoons "Ondoy and Pepeng"....

Again- thank you and regards...

Bestheartman I would love to be a Muslime, or a Christian or indeed any faith. I am envious of anyone with faith, and think they have something I do not but should have. Perhaps one day something will click and I can get there.

However until then, I love Christmas, oh and Eid and indeed all festive seasons that make people happy and come together.

PS I know Christmas is in December, but back home by now the shops are starting to display their Christmas wares, and begin play the same Xmas songs over and over.
