2 weeks ago I received a call from one of my friends to try out this traditional cake baked by one of her friends. Was’nt so keen on making one myself this Christmas so I’d thought I’d give it a shot before the festive season. So I landed up taking a sample, and trust me it one one of the best I’ve feasted on...
Basically it’s just a simple plum cake (with icing and without, take your pick) but dwelled in the right ingredients and definitely baked to perfection. It’s the best ever. I thought they were the joke of the holiday season -- the gift you gave people you had no idea of what to get, and then that person would pawn it off on someone else they didn't know...and eventually it would be hard as a brick and even more inedible than it was to begin with.
