Cats are for life!

Recently I've known quite a few ex-pats who when leaving Qatar decide to leave their cats too. I don't understand why anyone would welcome an animal into their family & then abandon them when it's not convenient. Please anyone who is thinking of getting a cat understand the big commitment you are taking on & that where you go, they should go too. On a side note, there are 2 beautiful, friendly ginger cats at Qatar Vets needing a home. I know there are many at QAWS too. Just look into your hearts first to see if you're really ready to take on the responsibility. Sorry for the lecture!

I wanted the 2 cats too, but already have my hands full. They were so sweet & friendly, would make lovely pets. Please everyone if you have enough room in your hearts & your home take a chance on these 2 :)

I agree with your viewpoint.

and I have seen those two cats at the vet office...immediately called my friends to see if anyone wanted them as they are so sweet! If I could I would take them but I am severely allergic to cats...(but that doesn't stop me from playing with them, then sneezing!!)

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you; that is the main difference between a dog and man.

right! They should think about this before adopting an animal, whether it is cat, dog or anything else.

Animals become family members, and who can just throw a family member away like that, well I better not describe those persons.

It's true that had working hadn't killed anyone yet, but why to take risk?
