I'm going on holiday to the UK for 4 weeks and i need to get foreign currency but i'm confused on whether to go with cash(British pound) or traveller's cheque.I'm taking a minimum of one thousand pounds with me.
Could anybody kindly advise on which otion is better?
Thanks in advance.
I would advice never buy anything in the UK in euro. Although most shops have a price tag in euro and in poundsterling, if you calculate it is alot cheaper paying in pound than paying in euro.

A debit card would be good--you can get cash at an ATM when you get there.
