QLers, i searched on Ql before asking following question, but little confused, may be this is simple question for you but its first time i will be ever in situation of car's technical inspection.

I have car 2009 model purchased in May 2009.

History of registration as follows..

2009 May - Purchased the car
2010 May - 1st time renewed the registration without inspection
2011 May - 2nd time renewed the registration without inspection
2012 May - Do i have to go for technical inspection before i renew the registration

Please suggest can i renew istemara without technical inspection?

Is there any service who can take my car for tecnical inspection, or its better to take it yourself?

UKEngQatar, i called the Woqod Vehicle inspection appointment number, and they said i have to come for inspection. :-(

I wish, that guy on phone wud have also said, what you said.

I think you should go for a technical inspection. My car was bought in July 2008, and I went for an inspection last year

Yes No Inspection this year you will need it next year, which mean on the 4th anniversary of your car registration.

Yes for Car Registration Istimara renewal! You will need only to change your registration plates as per new requirements which is free of charge after you renew you registration.

Answer to your question NO. You can go straight to Traffic Police with your renewed Insurance and renew your registration for another year!
