car plate replacement
Can anyone advise where I can get my car plate replaced? The paint has worn off where the numbers (in arabic) are not clear enough and I'm afraid I get a penalty for this. I don't know if it is legal to get it repainted from a paint shop as that would be the easiest solution but is that legal?

You have to get to the Police, Traffic Department and order a new one- it normally takes a week to get a new set.
It is illegal to repaint the Plates
You have to visit the traffic dept they will give you new one painted.

Go to traffic department. explain them d situation. remitt 200 qrs for 2 plates. they will give u the date when you could go there & they will remove the old plates and fix the new one.......very simple.
