Car battery
I have a Toyota Camry (2006) and here's something that happened last night:
I dropped my dad off at the airport and went to FFC nearby for about an hour. I come back and my car's battery is completely drained, it wont start at all, not even the lights would turn on. I didn't have the booster cables on me so I went back in and bought a pair, and an Indian gentleman decided to help me jump start the car.
Now, can a car battery die off without any signs? There were no signs at all of deterioration till the time I reached FFC! I have to jump start it again in a bit to take it to the mechanic, since after driving around for a bit and leaving it on for some more time did not recharge the battery at all. Is it a battery problem (before I go ahead and just replace it) or would it have to do with something else? I hadn't left any electrical items on, lights, nothing at all.

batteries dont usually give signs when they are about to die. when batteries are over a year old be prepared.
The battery was earthed and that it why the charge was drained.
yepp been getting it serviced regularly, only thing now is i need to check if it's still under warranty.. plus i've heard a lot about how it would take days to get a simple job done at the toyota service center!
it exceeded its life.

dont know if we hav any Mechanics here in QL ....???
Chek with some good mechanics my friend ...
You should have your alternator checked to see if it charges. If so, replace the battery if it's older than 18 months.
Another possibility would be a short circuit somewhere. Have an electrician measure if any current is draining from the battery with everything off.
Check the battery poles for corrosion, too. Sometimes a bad connection (especially the negative pole) can cause battery problems.
