Cannot re-enter UAE before completing 6 months in Qatar??

I heard recently from a friend that once you arrive in Qatar from UAE ( to work in qatar after cancelling your residence status in UAE) you cannot re-enter UAE before you complete 6 months in Qatar. IS this true?? Myself and family were planning to go to Abu Dhabi for Eid holidays and infact we bought the tickets already.However we have been here in Doha only for 4 months now after we arrived from Abu Dhabi. I was thinking I can get a visit visa stamped on arrival in Abu Dhabi for all of us as my profession is an Engineer. Can someone shed some light on this matter? My friend had told me that this is a new rule come into effect recently.

my friend re enter to UAE after 5 months almost ....but still u need to check it at DNRD website.
