canceling a work visa

Hi all

AS i have mentioned i am very soon off to DUbai, however, is there anything i have to do to cancel my visa/ sponsorship here in Qatar before i get one for Dubai, UAE. Or can i just go and then it will automatically be cancelled when i get my new UAE one.

You would need to resign from your current job and your employer would consequently cancel your visa, that is if your employer is your sponsor

Yes , normally you have to cancel your VISA in Qatar to get one in another GCC country. However, depending on the nature of your current VISA here and the influence of new sponsor in Dubai you may be able to get a VISA in Dubai without cancelling your Qatar VISA.
