Hello Everyone!

I want to know that do canadians require no objection certificate from their sponsor to do another job as I heard that westerners dont need NOC and just they can change their jobs. Is it true?

GodFather.

It's only true if your at the American base :)

It's not true. Rumours are that it will be allowed if a Canadian team wins the NHL :o(

Most westerners get visas on arrival because they are unlikely to abuse the privilege. They are unlikely to overstay and 99% of the time are here on a legitimate "visit" not a job finding tour.

Your statement was quite clear to me - I see no hidden meanings.

Enlighten me!!!

BUT there are those who ...

can come on upon arrival visa and look for job here.

And some claim they were chosen in their home country to get a juicy job here!

Really Flor... I ask you... go and have a look at the QL Jobs section and tell me which nationalities are there begging for jobs. Go by their email addresses and the language and the other info up for grabs... wanna tell me that its Westerners here on visit visas looking for jobs?

How often do you see a post on QL from a westerner asking about being on a BV or VV and wanting to know if they can find jobs here... 1 out of every 5 requests maybe?

Flor, I agree with you, (we) the westerners are too agressive and provocative.

You? Just a little whiner.

I'll do it for a Tim Hortons Double Double and a box of Timbits Mike. That's fuel for us Canadians.

we all know that everyone neds NOC, right?

Provocative? I am an Asian, remember, we don't provoke. It's not our nature! But the west, they're good at it!

Miss Mimi, please tell me how much... because I'm willing to pay just to see that!

Sure, and westerners don't need exit passes or residency permits or national IDs - how does such nonsense get started? Why would one group of expats get different LEGAL treatment than others?
