And you can fly!

The Norsemen worship Thor, the God of war and Odin, who invites warriors slain in battle to feast with him in Valhalla....

Supeesh better to be courageous by conquering your fear than to have a disease where you can't feel fear.

Lack of fear doesnt mean that she fears nothin and she's brave. lack of fear is really something miserable.

i also saw in oprah a child who could not feel pain. she had hurt herself often because of this. she had scratched her eyes till it almost make her blind and she had touched hot objects that burned her skin.

This is not to be laughed at..

I knew of a chaild who could not feel sensation in his hands.. So, he could never know heet or cold..

He burnt himself a couple of times, because he could not sense danger from heat..

there are different ways to overcome fears. she overcame hers by having a rare genetic disease that, over time, damaged a part of her brain leaving her with no emotion of fear. in the article, it says that as a kid she used to feel fear.

i dint bother to look up the definition of bravery. But according to the definition u just provided, the woman is brave as all of her fears have been overcome right? and she was put into a deadly situation and she acted calmly and got out alive.

By anonymous• 19 Dec 2010 17:58

Isn't bravery over-coming a fear? Being faced with a scary situation, yet doing it anyway?

By 0iffy0• 19 Dec 2010 17:51

and @whyteknight fear is gr8 and all but lettin fear control you isnt.

wen the woman was mugged by a guy wielding a friggin knife she remained calm and her lack of fear sent the mugger running like a lil b****. u cant feel sorry for her for being brave can you?

how can u not believe, chek out the link. her amygdala(a part of the brain) was damaged due to a rare genetic disease and now the emotion of fear is gone in her. scientific evidence not enuf?

the feeling of 'fear' in living organisms came much before any other emotion felt by them and its directly linked to the survival of the species..

difficult to believe..
