Boring summer
Since its summer, half of the country is out for vacation, the other half is here. How do you plan to spend your summer here when most of your friends are out of here or are leaving?
Seriously the summer festival doesn't help, its just for kids.
Isn't it depressing, that u r here by yourself, you have vacations and nothing to do in the country?

Digital cams just let you experiment more SouthLand, cos you don't have to worry about wasting film! The basic principles of photography remain the same.
nothing much here in Qatar...but you can enjoy swimming pool late in the afternoon. you can also check the summer festival...

Thanks 4 the info. I was hoping to join the group to get some pointers. It seems w/ 'diggies', it is a whole new era in photography.
@SouthLand - you're right it's not the most active of groups! But anyway, you don't have to part of the photography group to enter the photo shoot competition. Just take some snaps at the Summer Festival, upload them to flickr and add them to the QL flickr group. Who knows, you could see your photo in Qatar Happening magazine!
